One day I bought very interesting DVD. It is "Flash Gordon conquers the univers".This is 1940's TV program(what a old!). So of course, B/W, sound is noisy, film has blemish, special effect is cheap. But this is nice. Smile
From episode1 to 12. All episodes's last are "To be continue",then finish. I like this style!

Is this released in U.S.?

Has anyone found these anywhere used for relatively cheap? I only have the first season, and would love to own 2-7, but can't afford to pay $90 a season for them. Even the used copies are going for $60 and up. Those Asian bootlegs at $12 a pop on eBay are looking awful good right about now...

Just finished "The Haunted Air," and I must say it's my favorite Repairman Jack story yet. I like haunted house stories anyway, so to tie in the ghost of the girl into the Otherness and to also pull in another strand involving the Circle really made this an engrossing read for me. What really made it work, however, was the vested interest I developed in the characters. The Kentons were very likable and interesting characters, and I can't help but want to see them again in future volumes.

Just picked up a copy of The Touch from a used book store.

I wonder why it is that wherever I go, there will inevitably be a copy of Mirage, a copy of the Keep, two or three of The Select, and about five copies of Implant. I have never seen The Tomb grace the shelves of anyplace. Every single other book, except for that one. I think I've mentioned my library has every RJ novel except for The Tomb.

So. Where have ya'll encountered FPW's books, and to what quantity of each?

I saw this again. To my mind, this and Zelig are Allen's best.

Excellent dialogue. One of my favorite exchanges:

Tina: They shot him in the eyes.
Danny: Oh my God, he's blind?
Tina: He's dead.
Danny Rose: Of course, the bullets would go right through...

(No it doesn't do much for me in print either. You have to see it to appreciate it.)

I just finished rereading All the Rage, and the bit where Oz says to Jack "You can't possibly imagine taking on a rakoshi on your own," or something to that effect, and Jack replies "Wouldn't be the first time," had me in fits.

It made me want to see Glaeken take on a rakosh with his sword. I don't know why, but that imagery just popped into my head. For some reason, I just thought "Man, I wish Scar-Lip had guarded the tunnel leading to Rasalom at the end of Nightworld." To my mind, Jack was just about the only regular human (by regular, I mean actually human) who could take one on--he was special. Now Glaeken, with the weapon . . . that'd be an awesome fight. And readers would be giddy when Glaeken noted the scarred lip of the rakoshi he was facing.

Just one of my fanboy wishes; a scene I'd love to see, much in the vein of, say, seeing an X-Men/Spiderman crossover film (since both series of films have been high quality).

There is a new short story by FPW appearing in 'Terror Tales #2' published by Rainfall Books in the UK. The story is called 'Sermon' written by FPW and John B Ford. I enjoyed it VERY much, and if you want to get hold of a copy of this book to read it too, it can be obtained from Andy Richards at 'Cold Tonnage Books' at

http://www.coldtonnage.com/advsearch.html. The book plus postage & packing is £13.25 in the UK, you'd need to email Andy from the site to ask about International Orders .

It's a VERY professionally produced book and includes fiction by Stephen Gallagher and Many others. Check it out !!!!!!

All the best, Kevin
