I was just waning to know what anyone elses ideas/thoughts were on this upcoming feature. It stars Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman, with Oldman playing an antihero/ villainous character. What can I say Im a sucker for post apocalyptic movies and stories. I think this movie will kick ass. I for the most part like the story but witsh it wasnt settled upon an object.such as a book, the bible no less.lol..I know its the movies premise..Im a gamer and so I ask...Does anyone else think this game resembles Fallout 3? Let the words fly!!!

"The Informant!" Has anybody seen this movie? Today I saw it in a theatre, and I enjoyed it.

"The Informant!" is a fun and incredibly silly movie filled with absurd unexpected story. It's based on a true story, but I've never heard about this before.

This is a movie of chuckles rather than belly-laughs. This is one of the funniest movies of the year. Also, this is Matt Damon's best film. You'll forget he once played Jason Bourne. Big Grin

Some people have said there is no such thing as a stupid question... I aim to prove them wrong!Big Grin

In "Ground Zero" when Jack reaches L.A., he has instructions from Abe where to pick up a weapon. So he goes to the mailbox centre, finds the box numbered 367,(too bad it wasn't 357) and uses the combination R-10 L-22 R-13. My question is ....... do these numbers have any relevance or were they pulled out of thin air?

Knowing that you like to throw obscure things into your books, I had to ask. The closest I've come up with is the 10th book in the Bible, chapter 22, verse 13.
"Out of the brightness of his presence, bolts of lightning blazed forth"

Anyway, intended or not, that's not a bad reference for Jack showing up in LA picking up a pistol.CoolBig Grin

I thought the first one was decent considering they must have made it for 0 cash. I just saw on imdb there's going to be a sequel. I hope they scored some dough to make it so they can actually have stuff like sets, creature effects and catering. I think they could have a good franchise on their hands if they nurse it right.

Franklyn is worth a look. An interesting blend of noir, sci fi and thriller, it tells the tale of four seemingly disparate people who lives intersect. The acting was solid throughout, but I particularly thought Eva Green was outstanding. The real star is the script which kept me guessing all the way through.

I got this from my library and I can't wait to watch it again. I remember seeing this in the theater, although I don't recall about 90% of it. My mother bought me a comic that was the whole story and I read it during lunch before we went to see it. Maybe I've seen it once or twice a long time ago since it was in the theater. I'd like my daughter to watch it with me, but I think it might creep her out. Sadly, I don't think she's going to like horror.

I want to know if this is a theater-worthy movie or if I should just wait until it comes out on DVD.

Not a lot there as of yet,but the video clips, stills, and streaming soundtracks are worth it alone....I've been listening to the score from The Wolfman(classic) all day...

FPW’s recent newsletter announced: “The super agency CAA has become interested and is looking to involve some of its high powered clients. More than that I cannot say at the moment.”

Note: Paul does not say "Nothing to report yet" but instead states "I cannot say at the moment."

This brief and cryptic announcement could be HUGE!

CAA represents the vast majority of Hollywood stars, including…wait for it…Sam Worthington (Jack?), Charlize Theron (Gia?), Kate Winslet (Gia?) Jessica Biel (Gia?), Aishwarya Rai (Kolabati?), Stephen Spielberg, Angelina Jolie, the cast of Ocean’s 13, etc. You name the big-name actor, odds are that CAA represents them. (thank god that Nicholas Cage is 45 and too old to play Jack).

My eternal optimism says that this little puppy is getting DONE!
