We all know that Nightworld is being revamped and Jack will play a larger part in the endgame. This raises the question:

How should the novel be described on the cover?

Back in 1996, prior to the creation of http://www.repairmanjack.com fans would visit a site put together by Kade Cole.

Compared to today's website there isn't much but at the time it was the first and only site dedicated and endorsed by Paul.

For grins and giggles you should click on the "Chat Transcript" link and see one of the first chat sessions Paul participated in. There is nothing that you haven't read before, but for many folks, the chat session was the first time they were able to interact with FPW.

This was 15 years ago, I remember watching the chatroom on AOL thinking it was the neatest thing in the world. I was too terrified to participate and it would be another 2 years before I spoke my first words to Lisa, Marc, Susan and many others including FPW.

The links to the sections are on the bottom of the main page. Enjoy this piece of FPW history.

I guess it won't be long before we see "10,000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle: The Movie". I can't help but wonder if someone in the film is going to say "You sank my Battleship!"

So I thought the new Smurf movie was the last thing I would want to see. Then I saw the preview on USA and found out NPH is one of the main humans. Now it actually looks like it might be entertaining. And that disturbs me in some way.

Anyone else hear anything about the movie?

Has potential, but could also be a disaster. I don't know how they will continue this storyline for many seasons unless it becomes steeped in lore like LOST did. Still, as far as horror on television goes, this looks promising.

And we are still having the exact same debates about healthcare the characters are having in the book. I read a line that said something like by 2011 healthcare could be completely different, but here we are in 2011 and it is not. Still got to figure out how to handle the Boomers. Still got to figure out the access issue. Still got to figure out what role the government should play. Feels like nothing has changed in these issues since the book came out. Very frustrating.

Hows about a thread where we talk about movie that SHOULD be remade. Hollywood loves to remake movies, usually movies that were good and don't need to be remade. Obviously "The Keep" should be remade without the monster that looked like a juiced up wightlifter with his epidermis missing. Also "Ghost Story" should be remade. The original did not hold true to Straub's book, and it was not scary.

I love this movie! I haven't seen it in a good ten years and have decided to watch it again this week. The king of anti-authority films. The bull goose loony, RP MacMurphy and his gang of lovable misfit losers vs. The Big Nurse and her crew of soulless minions, the dealers of the stacked deck, the dual voices of both reason and destruction.

My first semester in college I had a young female professor (very pretty) that was of the opinion that MacMurphy should have been chemically neutered. How can you learn from someone like that? Just to mention it, my abnormal psychology professor considered homosexuality a sexual dysfunction.

Still, if you have any thoughts on the film or book feel free to chip in. I feel like discussing before I re watch it.

Anybody heard of this? Lots of free ebooks. I found it as an app for a newly aquired android pad. Plus you can post your own work (for those aspiring authors who want to be noticed).
