At least with Clue they had characters, sets, and props already built in. Here's my prediction for this movie. Two armies are at war on the sea. One is human and fighting to save humanity. The other is some unknown/robot/alien menace. It turns out in the end that the unknown/robot/alien menace is actually being controlled at a 10-year-old kid playing a posessed talking Battleship game in his basement.
