Just thought I'd post and share the good news, perhaps bad for some of you, the remake for John Carpenters Escape From New York has been squashed, they pulled the plug, now if only they could've pulled it on The Thing prequel.

If you had to choose one of the F. Paul Wilson series which one would you choose and why? (We are lucky we don't have to, but if you did have to choose just one)

For me it would be The Adversary Cycle. And it may surprise some, I wouldn't find it that hard to choose. Don't get me wrong I LOVE the RJ series and the LaNague seris (both with associated works). I am first and foremost a fan of horror fiction and the Adversary Cycle is what brought me to be the complete FPW geek that I am so that is why my choice would be easy.

What are everyones thoughts on this? Too soon for a reboot? Actor is British = good? (odd how all the American super heroes are being played by non Americans these days...).

I'm liking the trailer, it looks more like the Spider-man I wanted first time around. As much as I like the Raimi version, it seemed to stick too closely to the source material, it already felt like a retread. This feels like it's bringing a bit more to the party, and I want it to remain in high school for a while, Raimi couldn't wait to get out of high school, which is odd for a story about a school kid with superpowers.

And Andrew Garfield is a terrific actor, both Social Network and Never Let Me Go were spot on performances, and very different. Also Emma Stone, terrific casting.

I'm quietly optimistic about it.

But seriously, it'd be awesome. Let the desimilation begin!

Saw it. loved it. I look forward to Ralph Fiennes playing people with noses again and Daniel Radcliffe becoming the next Michael Caine. On the actress side, Emma Watson did a great job, as did Evanna Lynch.

Anyone else seen this series yet? I am actually really liking it. I am usually not a fan of lawyer shows but the characters, dialogue and actors on this show have me coming back for more.

Hi. New member. FPW fan since I saw the movie "The Keep" back in the 80's (I know, I know).

Just finished up Jack-Secret Vengence and have a question about Mr. Drexler. I kinda have a gut feeling that he is Rasalom. Though, since his name is not an anagram of Rasalom I'm not 100% sure.

Will this character die with the Young Jack novels or will we see him again?......
