I'm seeing it sunday... Anyone check it out yet? I loved House of a Thousand Corpses.

The preview looked really cool.

It has to be good! Big Grin

Can someone help us out? My husband and I are confused by the order in which to read these books. My husband has completed all the RJ books up to Crisscross, (I am currently reading that one), then he went onto to read Adversary Cycle and just completed it with Nightworld. We will be getting Infernal soon. His question is sequence of events I believe. I have not read the last 3 adversary cycle books yet, so I am not sure what he speaks to. Do you all?
Thanks, Rose

Mary and I have widely divergent movie tastes, but we watched these together.

The Wedding Crashers: formulaic Hollywood script structure but saved by Vince Vaughn. Very funny.

Hitch: (FF=2) Another script that follows the Hollywood formula, but well-done formula with an engaging cast.

Coach Carter: (FF=0) Supposedly based on a true story. Another Cinderella-team tale a la Hoosiers, but grittier. Samuel Jackson and a great cast of kids kept my finger off the FF button.

Today I saw The Island.

If you got disappointed by War of the World, I highly recommend "The Island". Well made script, beautiful art design and special effect, ..... and Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson, they demolished cars, buildings, motor bike, helicopter......While I was watching the movie, I wanted to say "Too overdo!" Michael Bay's previous movie,"Pearl Harbor" was terrible, but I like "The Island". This is "Summer Movie", and this is great entertainment movie. Also this movie is posing a clone problem, about clone's life and rights.

This reminded me of other great SF movies "Logan's Run", "THX-1138".

I got an unbelievable happiness!

I live in Japan, and I've been always waiting for FPW's translated edition...until now. So I hadn't chance to get his signed limited edition...until now(except signed Japanese editions. They were special gifts from Marc, Lisa, Susan, and FPW. Thank you!).

Today, I received "Infernal". As usual, Bluesman Mike sent it to me(THANKS!). I opened package, and I saw the book, then I got a really big surprise!

This signed numbered edition of Infernal is linited to 500 copies. This is number 486.

And, The Man's autograph! WooHoo!!! Big Grin

I've always wanted to get limited edition. But.....you know, I live in Japan, far from America, and FPW's original books doesn't come to Japanese book stores. So I thought I never get limited edition. Today, my dream came true!

Now, I'm reading Crisscross, 340 pages. Remainder are 75 pages. I must speed up to finish reading Crisscross. I was looking forward to Infernal!

Thank you, Bluesman Mike, and I say special thanks to FPW. Smile

Who's got a 485 and 487? Cool
