It happened in 1956, 1978, 1993. You know what? It was alien's invasion.....in the movies. "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" by Don Siegel, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" by Philip Kaufman, and "Body Snatchers" by Abel Ferrara.

I saw already '56 version and '78 version a long time ago. They were classical but really great. Some of scenes were very chilly and I was stunned. Especially, in '56 version, one guy shouted "They're here already! You're next! You're next, You're next!". When I saw first this movie, maybe I was 10 or 12. That was really scary!

But I prefer '78 version. Japanese title was "SF Body Snatcher". Actors were Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum, and Leonard Nimoy. Now I know them, but at that time, I knew only Leonard Nimoy as Spock. It was scary as much as '56 version. Especially, at the ending scene, Donald Sutherland's scream was scary. Because of his face!

All right, you know why I mentioned about "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"? Of course not.(sorry!) Well, today I rented Body Snatchers' DVD. It's 1993 version. From previous movie, it was made 15 years later. Director is Abel Ferrara. I like his another movie,"The Funeral". Actresses are Gabrielle Anwar and Meg Tilly. Movie it-self was not scary. Same plot, same story, same aliens....Yeah, this is B-movie. But I really enjoyed it. Gabrielle Anwar's character was weak, but Meg Tilly's one line was scary.

"Where you gonna go, where you gonna run, where you gonna hide? Nowhere... 'cause there's no one like you left".

Do you like those movies? Have you ever seen them or one of them?

Can we make the next lady with a dog have an Akita?????

I'll eat all my vegetables, clean my room and promise to never leave my brother bound and gagged in the closet again. Not like I ever really did that, of course.................

Since eye candy pleases the masses, check this site later tonight for my CH Justice's latest pic Smile http://akita.iwarp.com

Is there a possibility that these books will be available in an Audio Book format?

How important is "Demonsong" to the A.C. or any of the other short stories ? Where do I find these hard to find stories ? I would really appriciate any help in finding an answer to this nagging question. I know this may sound like a stupid question but, hold the laughter till I have the room.

If anyone is interested, Dave and I are prepping a feature horror film titled Dead in the Water. To learn more about the project visit the official site at http://deadinthewater.rpmfilms.com.

We've raised about half the budget so we're still looking for investors. There is more information on investment opportunities on the web site for those interested.

Sparked by a burgeoning discussion on the "Scotty has beamed up" thread, I thought I'd ask what do you consider to be the best television ensemble casts.

Here's my list, in no particular order:

The Mary Tyler Moore Show
The Dick Van Dyke Show
Friends
Frazier
Law & Order with Jerry Orbach
Star Trek

I'm sure there are more.

I have a few FPW paperbacks that I don't need (due to finally getting upgraded versions). If anyone wants one let me know and I'll get it out to you (no charge at all please) to keep or to read and pass on. They are:

The Tery, The Keep, and Deep as the Marrow. They are well read, but they all have pretty decent covers and are very readable. Let me know.

Ken (KRW) and I are having a friendly debate. Should we or should we not discuss "Freak Show?" Care to weigh in?

James (Scotty) Doohan passed away this morning. All other Starfleet Chief Engineers paled by comparison. He will be missed!!!

Hello everyone. It's been a while for me and this board, but I've run into a problem. I was in the middle of reading Reprisal and I have misplaced it. Instead of spending more money on a new one, and waiting for it to arrive, I decided to read Infernal and then Nightworld. After that, I figure I'd rebuy Reprisal just so I can have the collection again.

If anyone hasn't read Reprisal, I may say a couple things below that could give something away.

Well, for Nightworld to make sense, I might need to know how Reprisal ends. I was cut off when Will was about to kill Danny to put him out of his misery. Some questions I have are a) what did Rasalom do to this Danny boy (as in draining him of blood, yet Danny being still alive) b) why did he do it (and is he doing this to play games with Will), and c) is the Stevens girl (already forgot her first name) ever brought up again? I have more, or I had more, but it's been about a week since I read a page of the book.

I've already started Infernal so there is no looking back.
