A year ago I sold most of my signed limited editions of the five most recent Repairman Jack novels on ebay to help pay for a doctors visit to see why my wife and I were not able to have children. I posted the links to these auctions on this site and got a lot of encouragement from many forum contributors. One of the buyers paid for the book and let me keep it. Jack fans are the best. After a year and a couple doctor's appointments later I am proud to announce that my wife is pregnant and we will be naming the child Jack if it's a boy. I think the first book I will read to him(I am hoping for a boy)will be the new young adult Jack books. Every child needs to know his roots, right? Just wanted to say thanks again.

Harbingers squeaked onto the October 8 NY Times extended Bestseller List (they run a 2-week lead time) at #34. (The list ends at 35.) This is Jack's first time on the list since The Tomb. I'd rather be #1, of course, but it means that last week only 33 other novels in the country sold more than Harbingers. Nice.

I wonder if this is what Tom's new home is like? And when he first arrived, things looked a bit like this?

Well, doesn't that thing floating before the man(-like character) almost resemble the Lilitongue? And like in "The Barrens," I wonder if a whole new range of senses and appearances exist around Tom, now that he's in a very "Other" world?

...now that would be a cool spin-off story: Tom's new life in...?

I REALLY liked it a lot. It had some great scenes and the cast of characters seem pretty good. The pilot throws a lot at you, but it is well done and left me excited for the the next one.

It's about regular people who start gaining super powers. Kind of has that 'Lost' type of vibe to it. You just have to see it for yourself.

I'm just glad to see a new show that isn't

A. A reality show.

B. A lawyer show.

C. A doctor/hospital show.

D. A cop/forensic show.

Used to be I had a reliable but slow dial-up connection from Nantucket. Now the reliable part is passe. But I'm looking in now and then from an Internet cafe. Interesting that we now have BigBoobs and Bigtits as new members. Are we attracting mammariferous medmbers or just joiks?

Whatever. The $4.99 edition of The Tomb is doing so well it's backordered on Amazon. So keep it up you boobies.

Just wanted to drop in and say howdy. Picked up The Tomb on a recommendation of a salesman, and have had a very hard time putting it down. I plan on picking the next novel in a couple of days.

So far, I'm hooked. Thanks, Mr. Wilson.

Am I just being nostalgic for my childhood or was this a good movie? I put it in my Netflix queue, but I don't really remember it that well.
