Publishers usually release limited edition books numbered 1-500. On top of that they have a special lettered edition A-Z which sells for big bucks.

Not 5k though.Wink

As I understand it, there is are 26 copies of the first edition of each book lettered A TO Z, they are the first to be published. All signed & recent ones have a message from FPW

If any of the above is rubbish - I am sure someone more knowledgeable can correct me

So in theory the "A" copy of the Tomb was the first ever to be published

I think the recent ones are leather bound and rather expensive, the Midnight Mass A-Z looked fantastic (I had to settle for numbered)

If you read his entry he doesn't actually expect it to sell - he is using the listing to advertise his e-bay shop. He admits £5k is over the odds, but will honour it if anyone does buy it.

I wold love to shock him and buy it, but £5k is a bit beyond my means - even for the A copy of the Tomb

If I HAD £5k, I'd think about it - really think about it.

I'm so broke I can't even pay attention! But, we should get 3 other people and keep circulating the book. Everyone would have it for 2 months a year with 2 months left over for travel! :p
