I posted this in the What Are You Reading Thread but I think Dark Dreamers: Facing The Masters Of Fear deserves its own thread to reach a wider audience. It is a coffe table book by Beth Gwinn and Stanley Wiater. Beth photgraphed many writers, artists and filmmakers who dabble in 'The Dark Fantastic' and Wiater gathered the thoughts. I include it here because FPW is one the subjects-it is a cool picture of him and I'm wondering where it was taken and what exactly he is kneeling in front of.

It was interesting to find the common themes of exploring darkness that exists within each of us in order to better see the light that surrounds us and that horror people, by and large, are some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. All in all, a very intersting book.

Hello, everyone. I recently took delivery on an advanced copy of the new RJ book "By the sword", which is a soft cover and seems to be a highly abridged version of the finished product. just over 300 pages long, and larger than normal print. However, that is not my concern.
The Ebay seller had sold this as an "Autographed" copy, and I have no way of knowing if this is truely FPW's signature. Is there somewhere online that I can view a sample of his autograph and compare?

Thanks, Lexator

Looks like Jack will have to visit LA in RJ-13 (once again, I don't have a working title) and he'll want a pocket carry for his short stay there. Suggestions? Nothing smaller than 9mm, preferably .40.

Ok, here goes Im new to the board, but am on my 2nd read thru on most of the man's books (more on some), but am focusing on the jack/adversary works. As I just finished taking 2 bar exams I might be reading too much into this, but I noticed in Hosts that the Russian women mentions in Jack's fever state that "all dead except one, and he is too old," now I obviously know who the "one" is, but a) am i reading too much into this, b) did someone come before G (referring to someone in demonsong), c) is she referring to The Twins (I checked Hosts comes after Conspiracies), or d) Am i just parsing words. Forgot to mention before on the above spoiler warning, I remember someone, probably one of the Ladies mentioning that there had been only 1 i.e. G and have not yet read By the Sword, so if Im missing something there...
Thanks

I am a new Jackaholic, and have searched myspace and similiar websites for graphics for writing scripts for different themes and so forth. Well, there are not any out there that I could find, so I went about making my own graphics, editing and revising the codes to fit a theme. If anyone would like graphics or codes for their myspace, or similiar websites please feel free to contact me, and I will email you the codes or you can go to my page, whichever you prefer. If anyone has any other graphics that I have not seen, I would love to have them, as I am constantly updating and changing it around. I just picked up the WWJD graphic, and will be making that into a contact or banner. In the works will be a scrolling slide across the top of the page with the RJ series of novels. I cannot put any links on here as of yet (I have not met my quotas of Posts...lol) but you can reach me here if you would like.

I would like to see an actual Official RJ Myspace page with a "Q&A of WWJD", a monthly blog on what RJ has been doing, and links to shirts and RJ merchandise. I do not know if Mr. Wilson would be interested in this, but it is an idea to throw out there.

I personnally am getting more involved in computer animation and would like to do an animated series starting with "The Tomb" and going through each novel. They may be taking forever to make an RJ movie, but why can't we make an animated one ourselves? Just wonder what the group would think of it? Thank you for your time in reading my post, and I look forward to talking more...

Hey, new to all this so forgive if this is common knowledge. Did a thread search but came up with no leads.

Just finished Reprisal (New English Library Hardback 1991) and something strange occurs on page 322. A paragraph referencing Repairman Jack suddenly appears quite out of the blue, when the main narrative of the beginning of chapter thirty concerns Lisl. Its awkwardness is like a sink-hole with malformed words appearing around the intrusion.

What's going on indeed?

Early 90s typesetting error?

Have i missed out on any further jack references?

Jack Ketchum's "Red"!

Trailer:Red

Red is very sad story. But as a fan of Jack Ketchum's, I want to see this. I saw the trailer. Brian Cox play Avery Ludlow. I think he's good for this role.

Has anyone seen this?

From what I understand they've been going through writers like wildfire.

What about Joss Whedon? He has more experience writing good paranormal related works than most these days, he is also a writer for comics, and he also has major connections in Hollywood. If they could get his name behind the project it might kick the project in the arse.

Plus, he could probably get James Fillion as Jack.

The guy has range. not only did he create Buffy, but I am pretty sure he won an Oscar for Toy Story. That's what i call range.

Any opinions? Info?
