Advance word from the publisher that BY THE SWORD will enter the November 2nd NY Times extended hardcover bestseller list at #31. I’d prefer to enter at #1, of course, but that’s for the likes of King and Koontz & Co.

Thanks to all of you who helped put it there.

Each book continues to sell more than the last, but with only 3 more left, we’ve no time to reach the critical mass or readership necessary for that sort of leap.

i have been lately reading the books and finding them very interesting also the fact that the attack on the trade towers were influenced by the otherness to stir up alot of problems and grow stronger and make rasolam more powerful, and how jack needs to deal with something that happened in or around the area. my question is how would i be able to see if f. paul has anything to do with jack doing most of this where he will be going off and doing something and pulling his time so to say to put off telling gia it was him that was the cause for the accadent and when he does gia seems distant but trys to understand and how gia views of the painting from a side of her she had seen durring the coma and how ema is communicaiting with someone jack might of known or will know in the middle of the next book to the last. the otherness influence will be stronger and rasolam and jack will have a fall out and then the old guy will trying to get jack out but fails. it seems as if theres alot of things that will happen to jack, probably the death of the old women and the dogs seeing how there are all one and are the ones that seem to be pulling jacks life and barely know the out come of what happens and how black wind will be re wrote. i was just wondering if any of this makes sense like how jack is changing alot and re-thinking his life and how it seems more likely he will be trying to push him self farther away from gia and vicky and something will try to harm them and it might be the old ladies or allys to get jack to fight better. jack has alot that will be happening and im sure f.paul will find this interesting and i hope he gets back to me about this and tells me if im right or far off i know its not right but i need answers and i need his help. :p ya im crazy but its a long shot.

One of my ex boyfriends from a few months ago, told me that he does what he called "jobs". He went by the name Repairman Jack. People went to him if they couldn't go to the police. He told me one of the "jobs" dealt with a child molester. Also I read some of the books to see what was similar. Surprisingly, the character and him was very similar. He would go by the books almost trying to follow in the characters foot steps. I have already read By The Sword. The uncanny connection is that he had possession of the same book that the character Jack found. The one that would be able to turn languages into different native tongues. There are a few more connections that I possibly put together. I still want to finish the connection with the two. So my question is has anyone have heard of or been into similar situations?

Dear Mr. FPW,
please support eBooks. Talk to your publisher and ask them to get in touch with eBook stores and make your books available to the readers 2.0 out there.

So far, only one or two books of yours are available in electronic format at horrendous prices.
Since Books on Board had a sale, I decided to get "hosts". I contacted Books on Board and asked them if they'd be able to offer more of your books. The reply came quickly:
Quote: Thank you for your patience. Mr. Wilson would need to contact his publisher and have them make the additional titles available to distributors. They would then show up in our feed. However, we are unable to become involved in Author/Agent/Publisher/Distributor negotiations and contracts and distribution agreements. We have agreements with the distributors but no influence upstream of them. Thank you for shopping with BooksOnBoard.

So here I am, begging you to go digital.
You're one of the few authors that have a lively forum, you have a good internet site, so I can see you are not digitally challenged.
So take it from me: there are a LOT of people on this planet that read digitally. Either they, like me, have smartphones where they read on teensy weensy screens, or they shell out and buy eReaders with eInk screens.

The iPhone is taking the phone world by storm, and there are programs to read eBooks on it. The download numbers of these programs are amazing.

I can see that Amazon offers kindle editions of your books at great prices. But not everyone has a Kindle. Either they're too expensive, or they're just not available. Please get in touch with your publisher and demand of them to release mobipocket and eReader versions.
fictionwise.com
booksonboard.com
diesel-ebooks.com
etc.
will probably gladly take them.

THEN talk about pricing.
Why do I spend $25 on a digital version of "hosts", when the paperback costs 7,99 and the kindle edition is 9,99 ?
I can see that new releases are always more expensive, but some time the prices need to drop.

Well then, this is my rant. I love your books, bought dead-tree versions and downloaded some, but I want to have all my books in my pocket, so please, please go digital.

Thank you for listening.

Flame away.
(ah the smell of paper ... cuddling up on a couch ... sensory enjoyment ... what has this world come to ... )

I'll try to keep this short.....got my copy of By the Sword...read it in 2 days.....I am absolutely BLOWN away by this book.

I have read all of the man's books and I seriously think this is his best...I love the blend of Jack and Black Wind. I was literally on the edge of my chair (couch) to see how this would end.

I can't help but think that every single book in this series is better than the last......

On a scale of ten this book easily would come in at 15++++

Bravo, Paul, Bravo:adore:

"Eagle Eye" is fast pace action thriller. Gun-shot action, car chase and hard car-clash action, escape,....... yeah, basically this is action movie. So I can say this is popcorn movie, but I forgot eating my popcorn while I was watching this. I was speechless with surprise.

You don't need to care of Shia LaBeouf's poor acting. I don't like him. But don't judge this movie by him. The plot was minutely, and it didn't give guessing time to me.

The beginning is simple. One day, when Jerry(Shia LaBeouf) returned to his apartment, he found a lot of stuff in his room. But those are not stuff he bought. Suddenly he received phone call. The voice said, "Run within 30 seconds. FBI's coming".

Soon he was arrested by FBI.

Okay, guys and gals, you already knew those scenes in the trailer, right? But they're just a beginning.
One huge enemy was behind Jerry and "activated" him. When I heard this word "activated", soon I realized "Oh, I got it! This is high intelligence computer!" But I was wrong about it. This is not high intelligence computer. It's "Ultimate version of HAL 9000".
If you want to see hard action thriller, I recommend this. Enjoy! Cool

1) Crisscross
2) Conspiracies
3) Harbingers
4) Infernal
5) Legacies
6) Gateways
7) By the Sword
8) The Tomb
9) Bloodlines
10) All the Rage
11) Haunted Air
4,435,279) Hosts

I hated Hosts --- the book didn't seem to match anything relative to the rest of the series -- except for Kate dying. Otherwise it just seemed almost written by some other author. I could barely read it a second time.

From 3-10, most are interchangeable. None is significantly better or worse than each other --all are totally fantastic. 1-2 are probably the best books I ever read. 11 is ok. Not bad but not up to par.

Thats my take anyways....
