I saw "In Bruges" on cable channel. Has anyone seen this?

Young hitman killed preacher in London, but he did failure. He also wrongfully shot a little boy. He and his buddy wait until things cool down, so they hide in Bruges. But their boss ordered to kill his buddy.

Colin Farrell played young hitman, Brendan Gleeson as his buddy, and Ralph Fiennes as their boss, Harry.

I thought it's action comedy until I saw. But, no it wasn't. Some dialogues were funny and humorous, but a lot of pathetic mood was in whole movie.
Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleason showed excellent acting with mixture of black humour and graphic bloodshed. Plus, Ralph Fiennes's coolest character, Harry was brilliant more than that Man in Harry Potter movies.

If you like Collateral, Leon, Miller's Crossing, I highly recommend this.

And...after I saw this film, I wanted to go to Bruges. It looked nice town for me.

I've been hooked on for quite some time now a couple of online "diary" stories/books. I love them both. They are both about the "Zombie Apocalypse" but they each have their own unique storylines and ideas.

The first one has been going on for a year and a half and it extremely addicting.

The 2nd one will be having an entry in a couple of weeks with two "walk on" guest characters that die horrible and gruesome deaths. I will be one of them! The first two books are available on Amazon for like $2.99 or some time. But they offer some sample chapters on the website to see if you like it before you buy it. But the 3rd book is finished and completely online until it is edited and made to put up on Amazon. The 4th book is still being written so you can read it as he inputs it.

Here's the links to both:

I know we've got our fair share of Batman fans on the board so I was wondering if anyone is following the new Batman books by Scott Snyder. I really like his American Vampire series and am intrigued by his handling of The Dark Knight. I have the trade, Gates Of Gotham, and am awaiting the first trade of the new Batman but can't seem to locate the last few issues of Detective Comics when Snyder first manned the helm.

We saw this movie over the w/e. Anyone else?

Despite only getting 2 stars from some critics....I thought it was well done and it certainly did make me cry in a few spots.

Watching a lot of the show recently, thinking he would be a good Jack. I think as an actor he could pull it off. Yes, sorry I know there are already tons of blank should play Jack posts.

Well, I await this film with mixed emotions. Normal when a film I've been hoping for for most of my life is coming out. But then I think of almost a century of bad Tarzan productions (and Disney was one of the most criminal, to a fan of Burroughs' writing) and my spirits go right into the toilet. Then I think of the few other Burroughs adaptations, At the Earth's Core ard The Land That Time Forgot (screenplay by Michael Moorcock, who has been known to actually write entertaining fiction) and things get worse.

The director is famous for Finding Nemo and Wall-E, two flicks I never got around to seeing (the first because I'm over 12, the second because my film budget that year was even worse than this year). He claims to be a fan of the books since the year Star Wars hit the big screen, but he says he was introduced by the Marvel Comics adaptation, which I thought lacklustre compared to the DC version earlier in the 70s. He says he waited for a movie for three decades and nothing happened. I've been waiting since since a decade previous to that, having first read the novels the year Star Trek hit the small screen.

One line in the trailer turns my entrails to water. "Our world is under attack". Nothing like that in the Burroughs novels.

Well, we'll see. Atlas Shrugged Part One was a hell of a lot better than I expected, but I hadn't been waiting for that as anxiously or as long.

Is it just me or is this game's storyline just a little bit fucked up? As I understand it, the birds are angry because the pigs have taken the birds' eggs. So, the birds retaliate by suicide-bombing the pigs. I'm just wanting the expansion pack in which Osama bird Laden leads the rest of Al Wakr (The Nest) in terrorist actions against the pigs as holy vengeance for the Swine Eleven eggnappings.

A friends video has just gone viral, being viewed more than 45,000 times since last night. It's a wild ride... a nearly 12 min. car chase mashing up over 14 films.

My son and I got some good scares out this little low-budget winner. It is yet another 'found film' movie but you shouldn't let that deter you. It is the story of a Ghost Hunters type of show and their stay at an actual haunted asylum. A smart script, solid acting and a few unexpected surprises make it worth a watch.
