I finished reading Infernal last week, and with a week to chew on it, I finally found out what was different about it than the other RJ books. I think Infernal marks a focus shift for FPW in Jack's life. In the first few, his fixes played a prominent part, with the war against the Otherness spinning off of those. In the next few, the balance started shifting towards fighting the Otherness. In Infernal, there is a fix done, but thats really there to just remind us of who Jack is. I think that from here on out, we'll be seeing Jack in a battle to save the few people left in his life who matter, with very few references to his fixes. What do you think?
P.S. Sorry that my writing is disjointed...I haven't written anything in about 2 years Smile

I am continually growing my FPW collection. I usually read the books as I aquire them, in no special order. Ive got the order of the RJ and Advisary. Are the rest of the books just in any order or is there a better flow if read in a certain order?

Anyone seen this? (I don't expect any of you tough manly men to answer, but you can ask your sappy female friends Big Grin) I've read the book about 20 times and this movie looks like it would be a good one.

This evening I watched "Creep" on rental DVD. But.....

The plot is "Trapped in a London subway station, a woman who's being pursued by a potential attacker heads into the unknown labyrinth of tunnels beneath the city's streets...." (Quoted from IMdb)

I warn you. If you like gore, gore, gore, only gore....you should check it. But this movie hasn't storyline. Woman's running and trying to escape, attacker chase her. That's all. Normally I like horror movies, but I've never seen such a worst movie before! It was my waste of time. Fortunately, the movie's running time was 85 min only. If it was 100 min or 120 min, I would regret waste of time.

Have you ever seen this movie? If you didn't see it....you are lucky. Rolleyes

Greetings everyone. I am a newbie here. My reasons for posting : read the Keep every 5-7 years since the early 80s. The Tomb ? maybe a couple fewer times. 2x for nightworld, touch, reborn, & reprisal, legacies and conspiracies, 1x for all other rj books. That is, I am a fan. A couple of questions. Whats going on with infernal ? It was like a chapter in a book. A good, fun chapter that I enjoyed reading of course, but without a real beginning or end.

What really prompted me to join the forum is a question. I understand that everything RJ is doing will eventually lead back to Nightworld. RIght ? So, now it seems to me that the current Jack is far from the Jack of Nightworld. Is FPW going to re-write Nightworld to fit the new Jack ? Speaking of Nightworld, I just found a mint, unread copy of it at my local used book store for $2.65. Not bad. I did my re-reading of my battered copy. Thanks

The pb is about to go to press. Anyone have any errors to mention so that I can correct them?

It's a legal thing.

I can't read the thread and can't even have it on my site. I may have ideas in the hopper that match some of the things posted. If I used one I could be accused of stealing / plagiarism.

The same applies to RJ fan fiction.

I'm sure some of you could have had a lot of fun with it. You're welcome to take it elsewhere, but I simply can't allow it here.

I'm truly sorry, but other writers have wound up in hot water from claims with more tenuous connections.

...interesting little dark comedy about a decidedly whacko family. It is not a great movie but, it dares to be different which always scores points with me and it has some really cool versions of Christmas Carols on the soundtrack.

This looked like an intriguing film already, but David Bowie playing Nikola Tesla?

This is looking good.

Okay, it may be because I'm half in the bag, but Brian doing the 'Peanut Butter Jelly Time' song was hilarious.
