A special, low-price ($4.99, I think) edition of The Tomb will be released this summer. as the editor says:

"We are using the revised text. And saying so on the cover."

I asked them to use the revision I did for the Borderlands limited (published as Rakoshi) and they agreed. I'm very happy about this because it's cleaner and tighter.

Hey Folks, newbie here. I've been a RJ fan for a couple years starting with the Tomb but never got around to joining the board until now. Since i've finished the latest RJ book, i've decided it's high time to complete the adversary cycle. I've finished The Keep, and The Touch and am just started Reprisal. I was curious if anyone has found the thought of a phone continuously ringing somewhat disturbing? When i first read it, i couldn't get it out of my mind. It's such a simple idea but very unusual. Anyway, sorry if this topic has been brought up before.

Oh, man. It's gonna be like the good old days. Check out Kaiju Shakedown for the trailer.

I've missed this board (even though I've been lurking), but still keep (get it) up to date with FPW news, and have been getting all the RMJ stuff as it comes out. THe last one Infernal was ace!

Well I've now finished Crisscross!! I'm so excited. I'm finally getting caught up in the RJ series. Smile I hope to start Infernal this weekend!

As for Crisscross, I absolutely loved it!! Loved the way Jack did his "fix-its"! This book is really good!! Great job as usual FPW!!

Also, it was cool to see Ken Valentine's name in the acknowlegdements.

I recently got around to watching The Punisher. I thought it was a GREAT movie. I liked it so much I started on the comic series. While watching this movie I noticed that The Punisher Handled himself and his problems alot like Jack does.(Except for the bloodbathing) I wonder if FPW was or is a Punisher fan.

I'm not sure it's a theatrical release in U.S. Maybe somebody will remake it. Before the remake, I hope everybody does see original.

With "Good Night and Good Luck," George Clooney proves that he is not just another pretty face. His direction is neat, taut and on target. He co-wrote and also stars in the film. He has become a true triple threat.

And he does have a pretty face, which makes it all the more pleasant. Big Grin

David Strathairn is superlative; I've been a big fan of his for years. Ray Wise has a small but important role, and while he's not on screen often, he conveys a world of hurt with just a half smile.

The movie is a joy to listen to. The screenplay is rich, eloquent, fluid. People don't speak like that anymore and it's a shame.

Really good movie.

I don't know why I rented this. A clumsy cross of "Mars is Heaven" with "Who Goes There?" The special effects (relative to what's available) are Reptilicus class. Just awful. (That's A-W-F-U-L.)
