When I first heard this was being made I laughed my ass off. If any movie series ever outlived it's usefullness this is the one. Don't get me wrong the first 2 are classics. I even liked the 3rd one with Mr T. 4 sucked balls and I never saw 5.

Then I saw the trailer for this one and I can't wait to see it. It's an interesting premise. The look on Rocky's face when the press calls him a Balboasaurus makes me want to cry. I'll be taking my three oldest nephews to see it Christmas day (after presents and before football). Don't judge it until you watch the trailer. Smile

For those of you who gave my wife and I support through this site I can now say your efforts and thoughts paid off. As the nurse probed my wife's stomach I saw 2 little legs just kicking like it had some important reason to be moving so fast. The nurse moved up a bit and said it's a boy and I knew that baby Jack is already in training for whatever may come when he is born in May. It must have been fate for this baby to be a boy because I have been planning it on this website for over a year now. Thanks to all who responded and helped me with your thoughts and bought some of my Jack books to help make it all possible. I will let everyone know when Baby Jack enters the world.

For anyone new you can see part of the story here.

Anybody watch the Lost Room on the Sci-Fi Channel. I've watched it both nights. (Monday and Tuesday) The final episode is on tonight.

So far I have enjoyed it. I don't much enjoy the time frame. (9pm-11pm)

I think the acting is pretty good, and it's pretty much made for anyone who likes supernatural stuff. I also love the plot. Sometimes the actor who plays the dad who's daughter has disappeared isn't believeable, and I had a hard time believeng he was actually downtrodden because of her missing. Other than that pretty good. The actors who play the crazy or slightly off people do a great job.

Does anyone know if this was a book before they made the movie. I'm not sure.

Anyway you might wnt to check it out.

I see that Peter Boyle has left us, may his rest be Super-Duper.

I'm re-reading Legacies for the first time since I first read it back in...phew, 2000, 2001 maybe. I could have sworn there was a part at the beginning when Jack was with Gia and he referred to a certain group of "Blue Meanies" (the rakoshi, for those who might have not yet had their coffee). But not once did that pop up in this read - is there some kind of difference in the text of this new edition of Legacies, or am I just confusing the book with another one (which would be odd for me)?

It's been nagging me ever since reading Jack's brief scene with Gia towards the beginning (whence I thought this reference took place).

My copy of The Christmas Thingy arrived from Shocklines today! Woo-hoo!!

I just love it! A wonderful story and beautiful artwork - and the author & artist photos at the end are priceless. Big Grin

...pretty self-explanatory, but for even further clarity: this is a thread for those of us RJ Forum regulars who, despite the infamous *drunken* exploits of Mel Gibson, still find said actor/director to be too damn talented to lose interest in.

I have no idea where this thread will go (at this point it's prettymuch like a balloon that has been untied and left to go on its farting flight in random directions around a room), but I thought in lieu of a pretty successful opening of Apocalypto, Mel Gibson deserves his popularity in this corner of the Internet.

And so...um...there!

I can't wait until this comes out! I just finished the book a couple of days ago and it was awesome!
