Saw this yesterday. I'm not much of a Val Kilmer fan but I like much of Mamet's work, so I went to see this. Kilmer is excellent, the script is tight and terse, leaving lots unsaid but with enough information to allow you to connect dots and draw inferences.

The first 80-or-so minutes are riveting. Then it starts to unravel. I don't think Mamet knew how to end it but, being Mamet, got away with it.

Those first 80 minutes, though, make the limp ending tolerable. Worth seeing.

Hi, folks. This is Steve D. Been lurking, trying to figure out what's what on this board. I must echo Ken's sentiment about the time-consuming nature a novice has with this new board. How about a training segment? It could be attached to the FAQ. Now if only I can figure out how to change "thisisatest" for "Steve D," and how to put a picture like Jimbow and Lisa have by their names on their posts by my name. Sorry about the trouble with agreement with that last sentence. I attribute it to Lurker Lag.

Question regarding the trade hc vs. the limited hc's. Does the trade include all five of the limited? Or is it only the first four? I seem to recall that the TOC of the trade only had four sections...

I haven't read much discussion on this book. Just wanted to encourage other FPW fans to check it out (if ya haven't already).

FPW just made reference to the fact that the new Borderlands edition of The Tomb will be called Rakoshi as he originally intended. I am not a "collector" of books, so I am not familiar with all the terminology and such. Is the Borderlands edition exclusively hard bound? Is it just a different publisher? Is it a special edition? Someone please enlighten me. I feel like a newbie in a chat room that doesn't know all the chat abbreviations. [winks at Scott]
