I recently checked out the RM Jack novel "Nightworld" but not a newer copy of it but the one that was published in 1992. Is this one going to be the same as whether or not he publishes a newer version of Nightworld, or will this copy from 1992 still have the same flow as if he wrote another version of Nightworld? Will the life of Jack and his family and friends continue on from the most recent novels that F. Paul has written?

I just finished the new and revised Nightworld (great job Wilson) but had a few questions:
  • What happened to the Masamune?
  • What happened to Diana?
  • Why wasn't Jack able to use the sword?
  • How did the Lady come back so quickly at the end?
The Masamune is the biggest hole for me. The end of The Dark at the End hinted that the Masamune might play a crucial role in Nightworld...and it didn't.
I was hoping that Jack would at least run into the Central Park hole with the Masamune rather than heavy artillery...
Otherwise, an awesome end to an even awesomer series. Can't wait to get to the prequels.

I was checking out some of the films coming out this year based on books. I saw Oblivion by Arvid Nelson and went to goodreads to find out more. Here is the description?

In a future where the Earth’s surface has been irradiated beyond recognition, the remnants of humanity live above the clouds, safe from the brutal alien Scavengers that stalk the ruins. But when surface drone repairman Jak discovers a mysterious woman in a crash-landed pod, it sets off an unstoppable chain of events that will force him to question everything he knows.

The name is rather suspicions. Paying homage, or ripping off, or what?

My wife and I caught THE GRASS ROOTS up here, at Mount Airey PA, a few weeks ago; THE HAPPY TOGETHER TOUR (Turtles, Grass Roots, Micky Dolentz, Gary Puckett, Buckinghams - 2012) and THE MONKEES (Mike, Micky and Peter-with a special segment for Davey) in New Brunswick, NJ in 2012! Anyone see anything or know of an upcoming tour???

It looks like Jack got some love from Forbes of all places. I hope that the journalist didn't cross too many lines by putting Jack's business all out there.

When will the next two books be set? 1991, or will they be spread out to encompass more of that time between "cold city" and "the tomb"? sorry, i tried a lot of searching first before i posted this...

In Time came out a while ago, so it's not in theaters any longer, but it is out on DVD.

I really enjoyed this movie, and it seemed fairly original considering all of the copy-cat movies out these days.

This trailer doesn't do it justice in my opinion, so check it out on DVD if you haven't already. Some of the acting could have been a little better, but I enjoyed it more for the 'seat of your pants' experience: Just imagine yourself living in a world where you get paid in units of time (minutes), and if you run out, you die. End of story. No resuscitation. No coming back from the dead for a second chance.
