Or, Sequels you never asked for

There's going to be a House of the Dead 2. From what I've gleaned (gleened?) it's going to be a bit more faithful to the video game than the first one. I read a reason why Uwe Boll made this steaming pile to exploit German tax laws that allow you to make a movie tax free and when it bombs your investors can put it down as a loss.

I have a paperback copy of Dydeetown World if anyone is interested. If anyone has been looking for this let me know and I'll send it to you. First come first serve.

Stuart Gordon, king of the low-budget horror flick, hits paydirt again with Castle Freak. It is a nasty, sick, twisted piece of work that should have all low budget fans rejoicing. It reunites the leads, Jeffrey Combs and Barbra Crampton, from Re-Animator in another gruesome foray into the macabre. And to top it all off, Castle Freak is part of twinbill DVD; the other movie is Deathbed, which I haven't yet watched.

Leny is back!!! He has become a Junior Member and is using "Achiever" as his monicker and is still trying to peddle his spam on this website. He has shown up on the "Nosmog" thread! !

I took the kids to the library tonight and finally got curious about the FPW books there. I can't stress enough how small this library is... our town has a population of about 1500 or so and the library is the size of a largish living room. They can't fit much (my son has a larger science book collection than they do) and in general it's pretty crappy, with a weird random selection of largely donated stuff. Maybe a total of 12 or 15 tattered Koontz+King, about half of them paperbacks.

Yet they have a collection of about 20-25 FPW books, all hardcover in the nice library binding, lined up all in published order on the shelf. They even have the more obscure stuff like Fifth Harmonic (none of the LaNague scifi, though). So tonight I asked the librarian if she was a fan and she told me that the books are very popular here and people ask for them all the time. I thought that was so cool. Big Grin Maybe liking FPW is in the gene pool around here or something (should I worry?).

Here's the UK first edition of Healer- not as bad as Wheels Within Wheels but not by much.

I also found the proof of Virgin - quite unusual for a paperback proof in that it's large format, nearly as big as a hardback.

I just saw Midnight Mass and all I can say is that some day, a great director will bring his vision of the fpw universe to life and we will all be able to die in peace, until then we'll have to settle for The Keep and midnight Mass sadly

I'm sure this has been asked by every junior member since the begining of time but... what are the chance of having fpw sign some of his books if I mail them to him with return postage?

Has anyone heard of this story before?

Can you shed any light, Paul?
