How about this guy...

Josh Holloway. He's got great range as an actor - he is convincing from the sweetest most tender scenes to the most chillingly violent. In fact, it was seeing him connect to that place of deep, dark rage that convinced me he would be perfect for RJ.

I've heard the phrase "if looks could kill" a million times, but I'm not sure I ever really saw it until I saw this:

It's much better in action: http://abc.go.com/watch/clip/lost/SH0067...quick-cuts (spoiler alert: this is a "Previously on Lost" clip from season 6)

The only potential drawback I can see is that Holloway in real life is about 4 years older than Repairman Jack is in the books. Now, if Beacon would get off their butts and make a movie, it's a non-issue. The longer they wait, though, the more great possibilities we lose.

This movie is a true life story about a writer for the LA Times, Steve Lopez(played by Robert Downey Jr, who is superb in this movie) who runs into a homeless man who was a student at Julliard. The writer decides to write about the man, Nathaniel Ayers(played by Jamie Foxx who is really good as well) and the movie deals with the relationship that forms.

I liked this movie much much more than I expected to. It deals with the issues of homelessness, mental illness and the issues facing anyone who wants to try and help out. It illustrated that the issue is much more complicated than most movies like this do.

I would highly recommend this movie, if you only see if for Robert Downey Jr's performance it would be worth it.

I am currently working through the collected works of H.P. Lovecraft, and have just finished "From Beyond". It reminded me somewhat of the machine in the end of "Conspiracies". Was there any correlation between the two?

Here is what they have envisioned Cap to look like for the new movie. I gotta say I like it, very much like the combat gear/utilitarian look of the Ultimate Cap, instead of the more flashy/showy 616 Cap. There are more pics at the aint it cool website.

Another iconic actor has shuffled off this mortal coil; Dennis Hopper succombed to cancer yesterday. I'm not sure how great he was, but he was certainly interesting.

Usually during the summer I usually catch up on a show I never really tried before. I pretty much have run out of stuff that I could come up with with most recently catching up on shows like The Wire, Doctor Who, Skins, and tried Battlestar Galactica but I couldn't really get into it. I love a ton of different styles of shows and I am open for suggestions. Anyone have any? Somewhat thinking about Deadwood, not sure though.

Has anyone seen Remake version "The Prisoner"? In the original, No.6 was Patrick McGoohan. I really liked original.

Since last night remake version The Prisoner has started. No.6 is Jim Caviezel, and No.2 is Ian McKellen. I didn't know about this. So I checked this in imdb. But...some people say "Misfire", "Another Awful Remake","This is why we hate remakes"...

Oh, well, I just watched 1st episode, and I don't think it's not bad...or maybe only me say so? :dontknow:

What do you think?
