This evening I saw Captain America.

Action sequences were pretty good, but the story was predictable. I already knew he'll never die, because he will return to "The Avengers" ! I really can't wait!

I've been on a Idris Elba kick and thus stumbled upon this BBC gem. Elba plays John Luther, a brilliant cop who has trouble avoiding his darker nature. It is part Columbo, part renegade cop that is smart and superbly acted. I personally love these six episode seasons-they give the story room to breathe without overstaying their welcome.

I've gone back in all the books and stories that have a single mention of the Rakoshi, but if you find the time Mr. Wilson, could you PLEASE give me your ultimate, in detail description of a Rakoshi? I would love it to come from the man himself. I am getting a bad ass tattoo scene and its starting off with nothing better than a mean ass Rakosh with my own little touches. If you can help me out, that would be more than highly appreciated. Anyone else is welcome to help as well, just hoping to get a little something from FPW. THANKS!

Good evening. Just had a fun thought I would like to share.
Glaeken, Rasalom and the Lady are all around 15,000 years old, correct?

And the three of them were part of the First Age, correct?

We all agree there was a Great Cataclysm that wiped out everything from that age with the exception of some special materials.

I know none of the books have ever mentiones dinosaurs before, and we have to assume dinosaurs existed in Jack's world, but how were we able to discover dinosaur bones millions of years ago when a bunch of history was wiped out only 15,000 years ago?

Just a thought, I think my facts are mostly accurate?

Good evening.

I've seen both episodes. So far I am enjoying it, though it is a little over the top to really get under my skin and terrify me. Entertaining enough and creepy enough to keep watching though.

Anyone else see it?

Can the Repairman Jack novels be read as stand alone stories? Or must they be read in order?

An excellent movie about the last days of the Nazi regime. It was good to see that the film was more about the stories of those involved then one that tried to garner sympathy for the same people.

It did a tremendous job of showing how Hitler, even as he was being destroyed by disease, was really trying to hold on to his beliefs.

It was also interesting to see the loyalty displayed by Eva Braun and the other Nazi's that occupied the Berlin Bunker in those final days as well as the horrors they committed as well (Magda Goebbels was a monster).

If you know your history, there is nothing really new or revealing in this film, its just an excellent portrayl of those times and how the Reich's downfall finally happened.

It is in German, so again, subtitles are present, unless you speak German.

(One of the scenes in the bunker has been used over and over as spoofs on youtube about Hitler not liking the end of LOTR or that his car was stolen. )
