Now that the final installment has been written, I thought it might be fun to rank them in order of enjoyment. I decided against including Nightworld in this as its truly not an RJ book and I have yet to read the revised edition. I would also like to say that while it may appear as though I don't like the lower ranked books, this is not the case; I've enjoyed everything I've have ever read from the pen of FPW, just some more than others(his worst book is better than most people's best book).

The "Russian Lady" tells Jack at the end of "Hosts" that "a spear has no branches". He remembers having heard that before. Who told him that before, and in what book?

Hey all. I'm new to the board and didn't look through all the pages, but what is next after The Dark at the End ?

I haven't read Nightworld yet, so do I read that even though that was written before all the Repairman Jack books? Is Mr. Wilson going to write a new book with what happens next, or has that happened already in Nightworld?

What do I need to pick up or wait to pick up next?

Jack makes a stop at a house with Alicia, and when she asks him whose house it is, he replies that the owner is dead. I had the feeling that I should have known who he was talking about, but nothing rang any bells. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

I have a question about Gauntlet Slipcases. I recently sold my copy of "The Haunted Air" limited Gauntlet edition on eBay.

They buyer contacted me today to express concern that the slipcase that I shipped with the book is not the "official" slipcase, which is a bit concerning because it came from Gauntlet when I purchased the book.

He states that the slipcases were typically a glossy black finish, the one that came shipped with my copy was a matte finish, slightly lighter than deep black.

I don't have a picture to compare slipcases and it is the only Gauntlet edition I purchased that came with a slipcase (Gateways was supposed to but they shipped it sans case). I want to make sure the buyer is satisfied, but I don't know what to tell him about the slipcase as it is the "official" case shipped by Gauntlet. Any ideas what he might be talking about?

Another--Michael Murphy's beautiful WILDFIRE came to him in a dream.

just heard that the lead guitarist in ALL of my old groups from my garage band days died last Monday. He lived in Colorado and I didn't even know he was sick. We did 2 studio recordings. He wrote this one for a mutual friend: Raccoon Goes Trippin' (dubbed off an old acetate - check out those pops and hisses)

With our second son due in the coming weeks I have to unload a plethora of possessions to help lessen the blow of additional family costs. Because of this I'm selling all my Gauntlet RJ books as well as a couple other FPW novels. Some of the books are numbered, others are PC, and they are all in perfect condition. This starts tonight at 7pm CST. Is anyone planning on watching it? We're going to DVR it and check it out. It looks pretty intriguing. I really don't want to get into another show; we have so many on the DVR that I don't know when we'll get to watch already.
