I just saw "Sahara" and enjoyed it. Not the greatest action movie, but it had lots of non stop action and, OMG, the MOST incredible body on a male actor that I have ever seen. Thank you Matthew McConaughey! Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you....oh my!

I also loved the trailers for "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" and "The War of the Worlds." A good trailer gets me so excited; it makes the movie experience extra special.

WARNING : Graphic content.

Go here : http://www.big-boys.com/ Scroll down to "robbery gone bad". This is how shootings really happen, and it ain't pretty. No tactics, bad shot placement, etc., but look at the result.

Now, your assignment, ladies and gents, is to show what you think you would have done different. Then put yourself in this guy's shoes and think, scared as he was, could you really have pulled it off. There are some obvious mistakes and then some not so obvious.

On the page "also by F. Paul Wilson"

Bottom right hand column:

Editor: Freak Show

Diagnosis Terminal

Should have "hard retun and space after "Editor:"

In keeping with the format of the page, it should have been:

Editor:

Freak Show
Diagnosis Terminal

with titles properly centered under "Editor:" of course

I know that F.P. Wilson once worked on the script to "Bombmeister", an interactive movie i think Interfilm produced (togehter with Matt Costello, i think).

I saw the trailer to bombmeister some time ago and it looked great to me. The film, however, has never been released, as interfilm seemed to go bankrupt in the mid 90ies.

You can find the trailer however on the DVD "I'm your Man" from Planet Theory, that wanted to republish the interfilm movies on DVD-format. However, Planet Theory went bankrupt after publishing I'm Your Man as well (seems, that they really only published I'm Your Man).

So, who owns the rights to that project? Is there still any chance that the movie is made available on DVD or CD-ROM?

Here are some screenshots - remembers me a little bit to "Blown Away":

Today, "Constantine" released in Japan. Well, I'll go to see it tomorrow anyway. Also, today, another movie was released in Japan.

The title is "阿修羅城の瞳"(Ashurajo no hitomi). English title is "An Eye of Castle Ashura".

Maybe it'll attract you. Looks like an old classical type sword action plus SFX action. Oh yes, it's like a Van Helsing. Check the official site. This is Japanese site, but you can see trailers.

Have you ever seen this Spanish movie, "Intacto"?

Last night, I rented this DVD, and I watched it. This movie is about "good luck" and "bad luck". It's very interesting theme. Main character is the man who only one survived from plane crash. Then, the man participated to game. It's ultimate survival game. But this is not like "The Game by David Fincher".

Last game is..................Oops! I can't tell you! If you wanna know this game's result, check this movie.
Max Von Sydow holds the key to the end game.

In my speculation, maybe Hollywood will remake this film.

By the way, do you like Spanish movies?

Alejandro Amenabar is well known Spanish movie's director. His movie,"Open your eyes" is my favorite one. Also "Tesis" is pretty good.

If you like comedy, I recommend "La Comunidad". This is funny movie. Big Grin

I think these have been mentioned before, but for those that are in the dark, the remake of King Kong (directed by Peter Jackson) and the new Superman film (directed by Bryan Singer) have been creating production diaries for joe public. They can be found at these sites.

The latest two (Day 131 for Kong and Journal 7 for Supes as of this moment) are where things get a little silly.

Check them out.

I found an Ebay store that has REALLY good prices on some older FPW books. I saw several copies of Dydeetown World for under $1 each.

I know the subject has come up before, but I can not recall if a definitive answer was ever given; how many of FPW's books have been given the audio treatment? I just picked up the unabridged version of The Touch, I own an abridged version of Mirage, I have seen The Select and that is all I'm aware of. Anyone? Anyone?

This is rated PG and Matthew won't stop talking about it. It looks slightly harmless, but I would really like an opinion before I take him to see it. I know some of you will watch it. Let me know if it's scary, funny, whatever. Watch for anything that could possibly hide in a closet or under a bed. I would really appreciate the input. . . . . He's 5, BTW.
