That's what the word was; does it still seem like Bloodline will be shipping this week?

For the Brits on board it is that time of the year again

Big Brother

A group of wanna be models & singers with no talent get themselves onto big brother - it is their one and only shot at fleeting fame

3 months live on the telly making a tit of yourself & being manipulated by channel 4

Let me say here and now that as a vaguely inteligent, nearly 40 year old, guy I should despise this program

But I love it, only day 3 and I'm hooked already!

Any other Brits here been sucked in yet?

Anyone else see it last night?
I usually do not watch so called "Reality" shows but this one caught my eye. I just think of it as a very long social game show and I can live with myself Smile

My thoughts:
Joe Don(the Captain), what an utter choad. He was really hitting my buutons when he would talk about "I was in the Navy so..." Dude you were in for two years, thats not even a full enlistment, what type of idiot were you that you couldn't stay in the full enlistment. My prediction is he wont last too long.

John, what an idiot. I don't think I can explain it if you didn't see it. Thought if he held the Compasses hostage they wouldn't give him the boot. Well he was wrong.

Louie, I think he will be the next to go. You cannot spend your time talking Mutiny and expect nothing to happen. which is a shame, I think he would make a great first mate.

Thats really all the players who stood out for me the last episode.
Now for the challenge thoughts.

The Red team could have easily won the challenge even with the poor start. all they would have had to do was,
1> when they hit shore where the other team landed, leave 4 of the 8 behind, you don't need 8 people to get a map.
2> the 4 left behind, would take the red team boat around the fork of the river towing the black team boat, tie up the black team boat out of sight from the original landing
3> when you got the map you head south to the other fork of the river instead of where the original landing was

I know it's not the nicest thing to do but the game is called Pirate Master, not Fuzzy Bunny Friends.

So, House's staff has quit on him, and happy at home he sits, playing his new guitar.

Will his staff return next season?
Will a new staff replace the old staff?
Will House do a solo act?
Will Wilson and House join forces?

Cindy is mad at House. I liked the finale because of the possibilitites now open for the next season.

I hated the House gets shot season finale last year because the following season kinda skipped ahead and had House walking without a limp. The middle part was left out.

But with this season's finale, as in LOST's, there is much room for discussion to last the months we will be awaiting the new seasons.

AC

P.S. Hope House gets a new staff, and that Dr. Wilson plays a more prominent role in the upcoming series.

I have been searching every single used bookstore in my area for Reprisal. I have read all RJ's except Bloodline and All Adversary Cycle except Reprisal and Nightworld. I tried to get Reprisal off of the internet but it went for anywhere between $10-$25 and I am a cheap youngin so I started a journey and it ended today. I left the house at one o'clock and went to three different stores called the Book Nook. The closest one I came up short but I did find another Wilson book called Black Wind. Anyone heard of it? Wink So I got that and set off to the next Book Nook which was kinda far but not really. They did not have 1 single F. Paul Wilson book. It was blasphemous. So after wandering around the store aimlessly wondering why they did not have one Wilson book, I set off to my next destination which was on hour away. The third and final Book Nook. And in the horror section, there it was. So I just got back and the time is 540. 4 and a half hours but I now am a proud owner of Reprisal. I can expect good things and I had to hide the smile from my face when the cashier rang up the book and I gladly paid $2.55. God I love used book stores.

Not sure if it has been mentioned here, Heart Shaped Box is to be a film and already has a director

http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=20580

Now we all know this can mean nothing - RJ movie had a director 3 years ago Rolleyes

But I think this could make a great movie

Love or hate him, pretty much everyone knows who Michael Moore is. His newest film, Sicko, takes on the pharmaceutical companies. Check out the preview at YouTube.

Anyone else here a Dean Koontz fan? I'm sure there are and something has been bugging me for awhile and I wanted to get it out. I have noticed some coincidences between a Kootz book and an F. Paul Wilson book... but of course there are no coincidences when it comes to Repairman Jack. Anywho, the two books are Darkfall by Koontz and The Tomb by Who else?

1. Both have a hero named Jack
2. Both were published in 1984
3. Both have a child being stalked by evil creatures
4. Both have a crazy foreign guy wreaking havoc on New York by setting these creatures loose on people they got a beef with
5. Both children in the books are girls and are sometimes watched by an aunt
(Ok that ones far fetched but whatever)

Anyways the books are different in their own ways and The Tomb outshines Darkfall heavily, in my opinion. But for those who have read both do you see similarities or am I just full of Bantha poodoo?

Hello all I am new here and have been trying to get on here for awhile. I just recently got back into reading via Dean Koontz. I then saw that he as well as Stephen King highly recommended an author I have never heard of. F. Paul Wilson and my life has changed since. It started with The Tomb and i just Finished Reborn after reading all RJ novels and The Adversary Cycle up until Reprisal which I am searching for at local book stores. No luck yet but I know I will find it soon. Anyways, I check a website all the time now after finding out RJ The Movie had been in the works for a long time. At Comingsoon.net, if you type in Repairman Jack it says that director Douglas Aarniokoski, whom collaborates with Robert Rodriguez, has been signed to helm the project. Any truth to that? And for my two cents, I have always pictured Jack as John Cusack or a ripped Adam Sandler. I feel they both have the humor that can be attributed to Jack's character. Also, another actor that comes to mind is Justin Theroux. He is a good actor even though he was in Charlies Angels 2. Yes I was EXTREMELY bored that day.
