I started reading the "Jack" saga last year and I've read all the books to day (and loved them). I know "Nightworld" is pretty much the final chapter in the whole story so I have avoided reading it - plus, I hear it is hard to come by. I am very curious about the book though, so i guess my question is this: should I read it when I can get a copy, or allow FPW to continue the adventures of Jack and read them as they come until their timeline intersects with that of "Nightworld"?

Since the universe of Jack seems to be changing (maybe Rafe Gutman has a hand in this!), the question I have is Jack going to own Ralph again? Ralph is in 'Nightworld'.

I saw this on Craig's List and immediately thought of you: http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/wri/484810421.html. You're really good at writing movie reviews and if this is legit you can get paid for it.

They ventured into the territory of paternity and could have illuminated an issue that so far has been inadequately addressed by the legal system. A father found out the son he thought was his wasn't and that he was actually the child of his wife's longterm lover. Both men wanted to be in the boy's life, but only the husband had legal right to him. Instead of having a case centered around that, the husband just killed his wife and went off to kill himself and then there was this overly long scene involving Stabler's wife getting into a near fatal car accident while on the way to the doctor.

Just got the Gauntlet Press newsletter (having bought the trade Bloodlines, I subscribed to their bi-weekly email), and they announced the next book title. I assume this means the contest is over.

I started Stephen King's novella but didn't finish it, so I can't say how faithful Darabont was to King's original material. What I'd read was recreated well on screen. However, the film lagged at times, especially the scenes with the religious nut, played annoying well by Marsha Gay Harden. Also, there were several unintentionally funny scenes. Given what was happening in those scenes, I doubt the director was going for laughs.

So, we have a horror movie that dragged in places, was laughable when it shouldn't have been, and wasn't as scary as it should have been. In spite of all that, I found the film disturbing.

I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just say I enjoyed what was in the mist and was majorly creeped out by it. I also liked the brief explanation of it.

I didn't hate THE MIST, but I won't tell you to run out and see it.

Today I went to a theatre see THE NUMBER 23.

This is the story about a man who have an obsession with "23". He is Walter Sparrow. His wife gave a book to him for a birthday present. The title is "The Number 23".

He's started reading the book. Then he realized one thing. The main character, Fingering's life is same as Walter's life. Soon, he realized he find "23" around him. Walter's birthday is February 3.(2/3). The dog he found, NED, 14(N)+5(E)+4(D)=23. A novel Fate bookstore's street number is 599, 5+9+9=23. etc, etc....

Is it a coincidence? Or conspiracy? Is he paranoia? Or......

Jim Carey played Walter Sparrow. He was not comedic character as usual. Virginia Madsen played Agatha, Walter's wife. She's always good performer. In this movie, she also did great job.

By the way, today is November 23. My birthday is April 23. And.....gosh! I'm obsessed with 23!

They lived happily ever after.

P.S. Seriously, folks, this movie merges Ralph Baschi and Walt Disney. I may be a bitter old spoiler, but this movie made me smile throughout. (Was that James Marsten? Man, I barely recognize him. Very underrated actor, given the range of roles he has undertaken).

And I'm glad I did

I really enjoyed the audio version, thank you once again for another excellent product
