LINK TO TRAILER

Looks like typically well desgined creatures, looking more and more like Elder Gods every time del Toro does em. Wink

Also, what has del Toro got for putting Luke Goss as the baddie in his sequels? That's twice now! He's obviously got that look about him.

I just wanted to start up a convo of where people think Tom went when he was taken away?

I just find this too funny.

...and now that I'm on this board, perhaps I can get insight from other folks.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT FROM CONSPIRACIES, (AND MAYBE HARBINGERS)!!!! (highlight to read)

The Twins. Who are they? Where did they come from? What could they do that had 'Molasar,' (I notice that you all don't say his real name either...discretion is the better part of valor), so scared? They didn't have Glaeken's sword, so what sort of supernatural powers did they have that closed the giant hole in the ground, and sent the Otherness packing?

Finally, why oh why did they have eyes like the Oculus, (Oculi?)? None of the other Yenicari did. And since Jack is now the Heir, why isn't he as indestructable as them? These things keep me up at night, and I need answers!

If someone else already asked all of this, I apologize, but I couldn't find it.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

Of course I only discovered them sometime near the end of last year...Midnight Mass was actually the first FPW book I read. Then I started reading the RJ books with Criss Cross being my first one...it was kind of like walking into the middle of a conversation between two people I didn't know, but in a good way.

Just finished Bloodlines not too long ago. Thought it was good, but I'm anticipating By the Sword to be a monster novel. With everything that's been set up, I can't see it as being anything but stellar.

Anyway, that's mostly it. By the way, can anyone tell me where this sudden urge for everyone to read Black Wind came from? Is it new? Does By the Sword have something to do with it? My brother bought it online, and the next time I make a run down to Tampa to see him, (it's only about 120 miles or so away), I'll borrow it from him, but it seems...odd. Anyway, if someone could enlighten me it would be much appreciated.

Nice to be aboard.

By surprise, I got this movie last weekend. It had been somewhere around 20 years since I'd last seen this flick. I'd assumed it would just sit in my Blockbuster queue forever. I watched it last Saturday and it was awfully good. You get to see Peter Jackson at his rawest; no sets, a teeny budget for special effects, but he was extremely creative even then.

I watched while I cleaned house and watched the baby so I missed a LOT of dialogue (but somehow that didn't effect the continuity of the movie-go figure?). I completely forgot about the guy falling on the rock and cracking his skull open. It was gross when his head would open up and he'd go into seizures and would pack pieces of brain back there =YUCK=.

I started to check what was available through Blockbuster. No Meet the Feebles (had that in my Netflix queue), no The Valley, I have Dead Alive (I hope it's the unrated version), and The Frighteners.

We think we've fixed the spam problem and have re-opened user registration. You will now be asked a fairly simple question during the registration and so long as you know who F. Paul Wilson is or that Repairman Jack is a character in several of his books then you'll make it through the registration easily.

We've also add two new features to posting messages. One is a Quick Reply option. Just click the Quick Reply button of a specific message and you will be able to add your response without opening a new page.

The second addition is a SPOILER tag. If you want to add a comment or thought about something that you think others wouldn't want revealed unless they've seen or read it themselves simply surround your text with ["spoiler"] ["/spoiler"] minus the quotes. The text will then be hidden unless a person moves the mouse over it.
See? Hidden message!
Finally we've added a Chat Room to the message board. You must be a registered member to access it though. Much like the message board anything goes EXCEPT personal attacks. Please keep any chats you may have polite and courteous. You can access the Chat Room from the navigation menu by clicking on FlashChat. You can also see who is participating in chat at the bottom of the main message board page.

Finally got round to putting that map somewhere if anybody wants a copy. There are two versions - one with smooth shading and one with some pixely shading.
I've put them on one of those sharing websites so, hopefully, you should be able to just open or download them. I really hope these links work. My wife tried them from her computer and everything seemed to go okay, but let me know if there are problems and I'll try and find out what I did wrong (and there's bound to be something wrong as the website confused the hell out of me. But, then again, it doesn't take much to do that).
Also, if anybody knows a better way of doing this, let me know.

They look quite good if you print them on that parchment-style printer paper.
Good luck!

Thanks, FPW, for letting me put them out there.
