Just finished reading the distributor by R Matheson in advance of the arrival of He is Legend

[SPOILER]The concept is wonderful, a character who ruins the lives of a whole neighborhood, then all it means to him is a paragraph in 700 page book.[/SPOILER]

I can't wait to see what FPW has done with the follow up, the potential is endless I can't wait to see how it has been handled

I was looking forward to this collection anyway - but now I've read Distributor I am almost drooling with aniticipation.

A lower-priced trade paperback edition is now for sale on Amazon.

Today I saw "Streek Kings" starring Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker. It was excellent cop drama/crime written by James Elroy.

Keanu's acting is as usual, but Forest Whitaker is great. I think this is his best performance in his whole works. Especially the last sequences were thrilling and breathtaking scenes.




One thing annoyed me. In the opening scene, Keanu meet Korean bad guys. But Keanu say Japanese "Konnichiwa" to them. Hell, he didn't know about his opponents? I don't say it's racism. But that was ridiculous.....

Script was good except for that scene.

Hey, gang, there is a new hard cover copy of "Infernal" on Ebay, that is going for only 5 bucks! I would jump on it, if I didn't have a mint copy of my own!

Anyone remember this movie? I saw it when it came out back when I was 8. My aunt took me and two of my cousins to see it, but I barely remember it other than Fairuza Balk's gigantic mouth. I mean, the thing is really big.

Started it two days ago and haven't been able to put it down. Can't believe I've never come across it before now. A Borders employee recommended it to me and I'm blown away so far (on page 275). Has anyone else on the boards checked it out?
