Saw there wasn't a thread about this series(at least according to search), and was wondering if anyone else is a fan of the series? I know it's not very good (:p) but it's sort of a guilty pleasure.

The first two were pretty good then 3,4,5 were pretty bad and I took a break from the series. I picked the series back up as the "Final Chapter" is coming out this week. I was really surprised by the 6th movie and thought it was very good so I have high hopes for the final movie. Anyone else looking forward to it?
Really excited to see the return of Dr. Gordan, I figured he'd be back as soon as Jill left a package at an unknown clinic in the sixth movie. My theory is Gordan was in some way helping Jigsaw on the medical end of some of his "tests". But mostly intersted in seeing what comes of the end of 6 between Jill and Hoffman.
i saw that this guy chris morgan was involved in the screenplay, so i looked him up. so now that i've looked up the kind of work he's done, i really can't imagine this guy writing a screenplay that does justice to jack's story.

It is that time of year when we get marathons of all different types of scary/thriller/horror movies.

I have always been a fan of monster movies. I have very fond memories of staying up all night watching monster movies on my old 12 inch black and white telelvision on or around Halloween.

I am curious as to what the groups favorite movie monsters are.

I have a ton because I am a total geek when it comes to monster movies. Christopher Lee as Dracula, The Wolfman (the original) Frankenstein (all the obvious ones). I wil save a full fleshed out list after we see what some others like.

What are some of yours?

Greetings All,
I am looking for a show of hands (on keyboards) to find your favorite 'one-liner' in an FPW book. Not actually jokes (but they can count), just a line in a book which started you thinking, made you pause, or just 'got to you'.
For me, it was in Nightworld, which a lot of you out there have not had a chance to read yet, where Jack
called Rasalom 'A real dirt bag' after shooting him and finding out his skin was filled with dirt and was moving like a puppet by Rasalom's power.
I was rolling, it was hilarious.
Now, I think the best line is in Fatal Error. Seems like a lot of people really enjoyed Vicky's outburst in the airport. I could just see her sitting there, all innocent and honest, saying those words and not knowing the significance. Not only of the words themselves but of the implications of what Jack could, and did, do. First I just stared at the page, wondering if I had actually read what I thought I had, then I couldn't stop laughing and finally I thought, this type of interaction HAD to have come from real-life. If so, I would very much enjoy hearing FPW tell THAT anecdote.
Looking forward to all replies.

...not once, but twice!

Oh hell that was a great scene.

I just finished fatal error. That means it will be another year before I get "Jacked" again. Long wait. This is without question my all time favorite book series. I read a lot, but it isn’t often I count the days down like a kid waiting for Christmas waiting for a new book to come out like I have with each new Jack addition.
Which gives me time to think, and that’s never good.....
See, I was wondering, at what point did the secret history of the world really start to come together? The keep is where I started a long time ago (about 1985 if memory serves). Much was in place then. But a few years later later we get Nightworld. You know- the end. Of course, it wasn’t. Yet. Jack and the secret history went on, all building to the final end. Which leaves me wondering where the majority of the pieces fell into place? My guess is that Nightworld redux will have to be pretty heavily revised now that Jack plays a much larger role and we have the lady and others added to the mix (I like the original Nightworld a lot by the way) which leaves me to guess that it was at some point after that that majority of the big picture all came together (assuming it is pretty much all together at this point). I guess what I’m looking for here is the secret history of the secret history in a nutshell.............

Has been a great one.

Seriously. There have been very few book series' that have kept me as entranced as the Repairman Jack series has. I just got done reading "All the Rage"(Which was great, by the way). The next time I go to the library, I'll make sure I pick up the next couple in the series.
So great job Mr. Wilson. I'll be sure to check out your other works too. Because if they're as good as this series is, then I don't think I'll be disappointed.

Greetings All, I am trying to find out the current (and future) status of the Adversary Cycle. Borderland Press is offering the set, which is VERY nice, but I am wondering how they relate to the changes which are obviously in the works. Is this set identical to the individual books released in the past? I would like to find out which books have been revised and when those books have been, or will be, released. The Effster stated 'Nightworld' will undergo a major revision - which will be required now that we have the 'Compendium of Jack' events to take into account. Any info that can be supplied would be greatly appreciated.

Are there plans for trade and/or mass market paperback editions of Aftershock & Others? I would expect at least a trade paperback to appear; just wondering if there's anything official yet. Thanks.
