I always felt that Bill Ryan AKA Bill Ryerson needed room to grow. Perhaps when Mr. Wilson wraps up the Jack series he could revive a character from previous works.

I always felt that Bill Ryan would make a good demon hunter of some sort.

I was just wondering-When Jack was rescuing Weezy from her kidnappers in the new novel ground zero were there not any security cameras in the loading bay of a major nyc hospital-dont police now have an image of jack?-just a thought.

Here's the trailer for the new movie:

But if you don't want to watch the 2 minutes and are more interested in what the new realistic burn victim Freddy Krueger looks like:

I just watched this Christian Bale thriller/action/adventure again for the first time in a few years and it STILL kicks ass!!!

It may be one of the best of the genre but got lost because it came out around the same time as The Matrix.

If you have not seen Equilibrium do yourself a solid and rent it.

I understand the new version of REBORN will be coming out in Oct 27th.

Does anyone know if they will be any new material in this new version? Any new changes to make it fit more closely to the Repairman Jack series of books?

Hi,
My husband and I are about to lose our house so we are selling everything and anything of any value.

I read the Jack series years ago and while I was a rabid fan I bought The Haunted Air, first edition, when it came out. THE FIRST edition, mailed to me by Gauntlet Press, not the OTHER first edition by the other publisher (which I consider the second first edition, ask FPW about it, its weird).
This book was bought by me and never opened up or read. Bought for collecting only. It is signed by FPW and numbered.
The last copy I saw was listed for $500, but I dont know if the person sold it for that.
Since we are so desperate for money, I am just asking for your best offer. If you are interested, email me and I will send you photos to show you it is an original and it is PERFECT...like a time capsule. If you are still interested you can give me your best offer and we can go from there.
This is one, if not THE most highly valued first editions in the Jack series, per FPW, ask him!
Thank you, I know this was long and probably not appropriate for this board, but we are desperate to save our home (like millions of others). I do hate to part with it.

Marc Buhmann, our very own mod on this forum, and myself have been working on a new web comedy series called Genrefinity. It is about 3 friends who take on the daunting task of trying to launch the next big social networking site.

Episode one is in the can (as they say in the industry) save for a few flashback sequences that are going to be filmed for the full release in January 2010.

In the meantime, here is a sneak peek at the new series. You can also visit www.genrefinity.tv for more details about the series and click on the donation link so that you can learn how you can help with the creation of this series as well as assist with independent film making as a whole. Please visit the donations page and contribute so we can continue developing this exclusive web-series. (You can say you knew me when)

To my friends who read G:I, keep an "eye" out for one of the jokes from that script within this episode of the new series.

Without further delay...GENREFINITY: THE SERIES

Anyone catch this new show? From what I saw tonight I liked it a lot. If it catches on ABC could have a very good replacement for when lost ends next year. What did everyone else think of the start? I thought the ending was simple but oddly very eerie, and a little creepy.

I remember back in 2006, when I first joined the board, there was a writing contest on the board and the winner's story would make it into a RJ novel and the winner also won some money (I think, could be wrong about the last point).

IIRC, NewYorkjoe won with his SAWish style write-up about Jack waking up in some sort of straight-jacket and having to get out IOT rescue Gia and Vicky.

The last thing I remember reading about the topic was a post by another board member (no idea who it was) asking if this was the same NewYorkjoe that was thanked in one of the previous RJ novels and whether or not his winning was "fair".

Now I've only read up to Infernal, so no idea if this was ever incorporated into the later RJ works, but I was just curious about it. Whatever happened with this contest? And did the story ever get written by FPW?
