On the copy of the, "The Secret History of the World," page that I have it says that Reborn, The Touch, and Reprisal will be back in print before too long.

My question is is FPW re writing these novels or just having them reprinted? I just read Reborn, so I am wondering if I am going to have to re read this new re printed book?

My next question is when is the next Repairman Jack book coming out? The one after Fatal Error. I am sure there is a thread about it, but I am not sure where it is. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

Okay, as promised, for the finale of my World Horror Convention Breakfast Interview with FPW, I am going to be running a giveaway of signed FPW books.

Here are the rules:

You can enter one of four ways:

1. Become a follower of my blog at http://www.accidental-author.com.
2. Become a follower of me on Twitter (@tisafire)
3. Become a fan of my author page on FaceBook (http://on.fb.me/l1gtNI)
4. Post a MEANINGFUL comment to any one of the portions of the interview. You can make ONE entry this way PER DAY (but you can only enter ONCE PER DAY this way...for example, if you post five comments in a day, it still only counts as ONE entry). I will reserve the right to reject an entry if it is not MEANINGFUL...ie, if you just post your name or some random word that has NOTHING to do with the interview, that WILL NOT COUNT.

You CAN garner multiple entries. If you do #1, 2, 3 AND 4, that will count as FOUR entries. So, conceivably, any one person could have 15 entries maximum (one each from #1, #2 and #3 and 12 entries by posting one comment per day).

Any time you complete any one of the four, email me at entries@accidental-author.com. Each entry will be assigned an integer. The very first entry will be given the number 1, the second, number 2 and so on. You will receive a reply with your entry number for that entry.

NOTE: If you already ARE a follower of my blog, follower of mine on Twitter, fan of mine on FaceBook, email me at entries@accidental-author.com stating this and I will assign you entry numbers for each.

The deadline is May 31. On June 1, using true random number generator at http://www.random.org, I will draw TWO winners, based on the number assigned to their entry (or entries).

The FIRST prize winner will receive a hardcover copy of FATAL ERROR, signed by F Paul Wilson.

The SECOND prize winner will receive a trade paperback copy of THE KEEP signed by F Paul Wilson.

If you win, you will be contacted via email to get your mailing address. Prizes will be mailed out around June 15, 2011.

If you have any questions, post them here, or email me at jesse@accidental-author.com.

Good luck!

Holy crap!! I had no idea this was being remade. The original from 1973 scared me as much as any movie I have every seen. I remember it vividly and recently got a copy of it on DVD and I have to say, it holds up.

I hope the remake holds up to the original. Katie Holmes being in it is a warning flag but Guillermo Del Toro being one of the screen writers makes up for that. Keeping my fingers crossed.

For those that have been following my interview series with FPW at my blog (http://www.accidental-author.com), the third installment (of four) will be posted later this week.

In this installment, FPW discusses digital publishing and the pitfalls of book piracy, as well as his thoughts on the evolution of book-writing in the digital age.

In addition, he discusses a little bit about Black Wind.

And there is a fun little tidbit...I have a personal letter from Stephen King that he wrote me when I worked at a library while I was in high school (as a part of a Stephen King theme month). In the letter he mentions that one of FPW's books taught him a lot about the literary value of horror.

Anyone care to guess which book it is?

As nice as it would be to see every book adapted, it can be hard to lock an actor down for more than three movies. It could be as much as 10 years of the actors life. At that point if you want to continue the series you’d have to get a new, more youthful actor. So if you could pick 3 books to make up a Jack trilogy, which would you pick. (probably your favorite 3 like me)

Mine would be
The Tomb
Crisscross
All the Rage

I am about to let my geek flag fly, but I have been a Smallville fan since the first episode. I have seen every single episode and even though it pissed me off many times, they redeemed themselves with the series finale.

We had Clark finally fly, wear the suit, save the day and finally complete his journey in becoming the Man of Steel.

To top it all off the use of the John Williams theme at the end was an added treat that I was not expecting.

Aside from the lackluster fight with Darkseid and some poor CGI (Tom welling couldn't fit into the suit from "Superman Returns" so the scenes of Welling as Superman were all CGI.) the series finale was everything this fan could have wanted. This was a great way to end the series and reward the loyal fans for a decade of sticking with it.

Okay, I am turning my geek knob to off and thank you for allowing to to bask in nerd glory for a moment.

I just saw this on ebay and I'm very intrigued. Does anyone have any info on it? History, original price, circumstance of it's creation???

Ask nice and I'll share the link. There are 5 left.

Just saw this last night. Excellent. James Franco actually carries this movie (well, he kind of has to). But he does a really good job of it. Not quite on par with Tom Hanks in Castaway, but that's an unfair standard to hold him to. But he was better than Ryan Reynolds in Buried.

I don't get why it's rated R, other than the part
where he hacks off his arm
.

Hello!
I'm new here and I try to post again...
I would like to present you a painting I've made 3 years ago about Repairman Jack, from the book "Infernal". (I'm like totally crazy about it!!!)
I was very impressed from the story and the very strange thing called "Lilitongue of Gefreda", so I decided to paint a scene of it...
For Jack's character, I've choose the actor Nathan Fillion, and for his brother's John Heard...
Please tell me what you think.

This evening I saw Black Swan in a theatre. Why does nobody mention about this movie? Nobody has seen this one? Honestly, I think this is the best movie in 2011 so far!

BLACK SWAN is a psychological thriller ballet, stars Natalie Portman as Nina. Director is Darren Aronofsky.

Bizarre but beautiful and bewilder, gorgeous and outstanding! 'Black Swan' is art of madness. You'll never see Swan Lake in the same light again. This movie will grab your soul and it won't release you. Especially Natalie Portman. You won't forget her every "acting".
