Posible spoilers for "All The Rage"

This is basicly for FPW, but if others have an opinion feal free to post.

I was rereading "All The Rage" "again" , and noticed a referance to something in Jacks past that I don't think has been explained in the series. I was curious if you've been tying in referances to the YA series?

The reference I'm alluding to would be when Jack is drinking the Bezerk tainted cup of coffee. He say's " Certain things I will not abide in my sight."
Nadia finds the word "abide" unusal for someoneone from the Northeast.

His reply was, "A man who taught me some things used to use that word."

Is this a referance to the YA series?

This film just leaped to the top of my must see list. I was curious as to how they would flesh the Stephen King short story out (30 pages at most) and it looks like they made some good decisions regarding the backstory.

I just saw this over the weekend. Worth adding to your queue. I'm looking forward to The Prestige to see how they compare.

Before I really say anything I'm totally a newb and have very little idea of how this all works. I tried looking at how the books fit together and it gave me a headache ^_^;
I've read the repairman jack novels and just finished reading Harbingers and I'm sorry if I missed it or it's been said somewhere but is there going to be more repairman jack novels? I've read that they are leading up to the Adversary Cycle, (sorry if this is wrong) but how do these tie together? Do we find out what happened to Tom? Does the war continue somewhere else? Is there a book that tells who wins? I love these books and have questions but even if someone could point me in the right direction (like a previous post or such) it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Big Grin

I know they are suffering from overexposure, but I generally enjoy most of the CGI films I see and The Barnyard is no exception. It is a lot of fun, my kids were cracking up throughout and I also had several good laughs, but it is nothing spectacular. I recommend it for those with young uns or those seeking a entertaining diversion.

Just for fun I’d like to open a discussion regarding Rasolm’s appearances’ as the reincarnation of evil in the RJ series; post Keep and excluding the Adversary Cycle. Only three come to my mind: Conspiracies, Gateways and Harbingers any thing else from the forum?

Stephen King's THE MIST is one of my favorite short stories. I got good news about THE MIST. I hope they make good adaptation. Smile

Starring:Samuel L. Jackson, Julianne Moore, and Ron Eldard....Freedomland had good casts, but story was terrible. Especially, I was very tired at last sequences. 112 min was too long.

Save your money and time. I'm glad I had coupon ticket. At least I saved my money, but I wasted 112 min....:eek:

Today I went to a thatre see "The Pursuit of Happyness".

Okay, I knew the story about Chris Gardner, so I already knew this ending. Why I went to see this? Because Will Smith. This time, he didn't fight aliens or robots. This time, he did fight for his life and his son. He never gave up his life. He didn't forsake his son. He was salesman, but for the pursuit of happiness, a week, He worked apprenticeship at brokerage firm.

We know already this is happy ending-type story. Chris Gardner's happiness was far away. But he did the pursuit of happiness, and he got happiness. His success story told me, "If you make an effort, you have a fighting chance of happiness".

By the way, do you know why this title is "...........Happyness"? The answer is....well, check this movie. Wink
