The dog? Well let's not spoil it for you....but the revelation will surprise and delight to be sure. Wink
It's good to see you too! Work has pulled me away from our crazy board, but I felt compelled to talk TV with like-minded folks.

Dang, you already know about the dog!!! I'm DYING to know and I have some wild theories, but I think I want to wait and be surprised.

I guess you've read the books. Are they very good?

I'm behind on all extracurricular activities including reading. I haven't even read the latest Stephanie Plum novel. Oh, the horror!

Yes, I've read the books. One of my favorite vampire series' I recommend them and the series by Mary Janice Davidson. Her series is Undead and.....
I think there are 6 of them now. The first is Undead and Unwed. Funny, sexy and a vampire that likes designer shoes!!! A woman I can relate to!

I love that series too! (There's a shocker, right?)

I know about the dog too, and I'm not telling!

None. The light from the burning monastery is more than sufficient.

What did everyone think of this week's episode? The more I see of Tara and Lafayette, the more I love them. They work so well together.
Finally , Sookie gets to have some fun, her world will change now. And "poor" Jason, don't you feel so sorry for him......not!

I can't wait to learn more about Sookie and her abilities. They have barely scratched the sureface and provided small glimpses of what she is capable.

This is one seriously addictive show.

Tara is finally no longer getting on my nerves. Talk about character development.

I loved the scene where
Sookie was being attacked and just barely mumbled Bill's name and he woke up...but couldn't do anything.
I wonder what that was all about though.

I hope the ratings are good enough to keep this show going, it is one of the better episodic dramas currently on television.

I've moved from finding Tara grating, to finding her funny, to simply loving her. It really is amazing how far my feelings about her have come over the span of the episodes so far.

The scene with Sookie and the pie was so, so, SO sad. Sad

And Bill, well... I can't even find the words to describe it right now. :p

I LOVE this show.

I LOVE this show.

I'm right there with you, girlfriend! The pie scene made me cry. I'm such a girl sometimes! And Bill is wicked sexy. Don't you just love what a southern gentleman he is, yet is still undeniably animalistic? Oh my, I think I'm having the vapahs!

This show has great writing, actors and plot lines plus it has a great sense of humor wrapped in a nice sexy package.

I swear if it were not for cable channels, I'd rarely turn my tv on anymore.

What did everyone think of this last episode? Sookie and Bill now have "a connection" due to her allowing Bill to bite her. Bill will do anything for her and Sookie is definitely energized.

Sookie's uncle was a dirt bag and deserved death.

Best lines....."I'm unboyfriendable" by Tara. "Skank" by Lafayette.

At the end of the show during the credits, HBO posted some of comments that were posted on their web site. One that had me laughing at myself.....
"Bill could bite me anytime"......by
Fangbangerwannabe
 Yeah, I know......snicker

That scene with the pie made me realize how gifted Anna Paquin really is - that emotion was so raw and genuine, I couldn't believe it. And it made me cry too. As for Bill, I'm just shocked every week by how well Stephen Moyer manages to blend those too aspects of that character.

This week's episode - awesome overall (though I was getting a little bored with the Tara's mom story line). Tara and Lafayette as always got all the best lines, but I also thought the scene on the boat with Andy and Terry when they saw Sam was PRICELESS!!

I really want to see Eric for more than 15 seconds at a time. Though I have to say... in the books I really love Eric and I've always been just meh about Bill. However, Bill is bringing the sexy SO hard that I'm not sure that there's anything Alex Skarsgard can do at this point to eclipse that.

On another note, I really love the little touches on this show - Eric sitting in the bar texting (hee!), the fact that Bill has books down his hidey hole. I dunno, it's like these small things that really help to flesh out the characters.

And I don't know what my problem is with the men on this show. I have never been a woman who is attracted to violence, but when
Bill killed Uncle Bartlet
, I actually said out loud, "Oh god, I want one like THAT." And when Sam broke the pool cue over his knee, I seriously wanted to hump his leg. Crazy. :o

Maybe Eric will play a bigger role as time goes on?? He wasn't that big of a character in the first book (as far as times he appeared in the story). Granted, the series isn't sticking strictly to the books...

And count me as one who thinks Eric is far sexier than Bill, when reading the books. Part of me wants Harris to have Sookie and Eric get together (permanently). Another part enjoys the interactions and verbal spats enough to want Eric to never make up his mind about Sookie.
