This little indie movie is being touted as Das Boot in a tank. Kinda. We see the movie through the pov of the tank crew. Only the final shot shows the tank from afar (not a spoiler). Based on a true story (what indie film isn't?!), four youths, early 20's, man the tank. They follow a platoon into battle, with the commander jumping in and out of the tank, giving orders and guidance. The Israelis find themselves lost in Syria, surrounded by Syrian forces, and the tank and its inexperienced crew are abandoned. Reminded me of a movie called Beast, with a similar plot--only with a Russian tank. Movie's strictly for battle movie fans. It's no Das Boot, but it holds its own without the comparison.
