I'd go back.
I worked in exactly that neighborhood for a long time, maybe 1/4 of a mile from the zoo and just a few blocks from the streetcar line. That part of the city is my very favorite. Smile

How many vikings does it take to change a light bulb?

None. The light from the burning monastery is more than sufficient.

My best friend and I wandered the city for 3 days and eves. I was impressed by the area by the cathedral, happy wandering the antique shops...I even found a 1900's cobalt blue "poison" bottle...cheap! We also ventured into The Hustler shop! The French Quarter was fun and energizing. But the best was the beautiful quiet neighborhoods. Just wonderful.

This show keeps getting better and better, imo. And I even say that when there was no Eric this week. Wink

I was at Blockbuster yesterday and noticed that the premiere episode was available but nothing else after it. I decided to wait.

The actor that plays Jason makes me laugh so hard. I can't remember the last time I saw an actor who manages to look that incredibly dumb. I love Lafayette too *snap*snap*snap*. I'm even warming up to Tara now - I found her rather grating at first, but now she just makes me laugh. And I swear, Stephen Moyer just gets hotter every week. Yikes.

I think that's a wise decision. The first episode was pretty slow. I'd wait til I could at least watch a few of them in a row to get a real feel for the show.

I absolutely must get HBO. I love the book series and would love to watch the series on HBO. I have to admit - I always want to smack Jason and Tara upside the head when I read the books...

From the comments here, it seems like that urge would be the same when watching the show too.

Probably. And we won't talk about the other urges. *cough* I feel the vapors coming on, I think.

I love True Blood. It's smart, sexy and dangerous! I disagree with Tony (sorry!) because I think Sookie's best friend is fabulous.

This show's first season so far is reminding me of the first season of Dexter because it is so fresh. I mean, I know vampires have been done to death, but this puts a really interesting spin on the genre.

The real question is...what's the deal with the dog?

Susan, Oh Queen!! Good to see you again.

The dog? Well let's not spoil it for you....but the revelation will surprise and delight to be sure. Wink
