Gorgeous neighborhoods and plantings.I worked in exactly that neighborhood for a long time, maybe 1/4 of a mile from the zoo and just a few blocks from the streetcar line. That part of the city is my very favorite.
I'd go back.

And I just love Lafayette!!....another bad boy not going to take any sh!! from anyone. The actor that plays Jason makes me laugh so hard. I can't remember the last time I saw an actor who manages to look that incredibly dumb. I love Lafayette too *snap*snap*snap*. I'm even warming up to Tara now - I found her rather grating at first, but now she just makes me laugh. And I swear, Stephen Moyer just gets hotter every week. Yikes.

The first episode was pretty slow. I'd wait til I could at least watch a few of them in a row to get a real feel for the show.

This show's first season so far is reminding me of the first season of Dexter because it is so fresh. I mean, I know vampires have been done to death, but this puts a really interesting spin on the genre.
The real question is...what's the deal with the dog?
