Did anyone else see this movie and did anyone else love it?

I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD. Classic movie and laugh-out-loud funny.

Ehh... wasn't spectacular by any means. Bret Ratner ain't no Bryan Singer. I didn't care for the introduction of SO many new characters and throwing the ones we've known since the first movie out the window. The subtle moments Singer achieved in the first two are definitely lacking in this one.

And how does it go from day to night in under 30 seconds? (If you see the movie it happens when they storm Alcatraz).

What the...? Guess? Anyone? I was fine up until the last 30 seconds.

I can't wait to see the new X-Men movie, and this interview only makes me want to see it more. Seriously, this guy is completely freaked out that he's interviewing Patrick Stewart. To his credit, Stewart takes him seriously and is very courteous. Best quote of the entire clip? "Thats a big question."

thanks for the welcomes and i hope this question doesn't get me booted out but-i have not read every book in the advesary cycle-including nightworld but have read all the strictly repairman novels and many other of fpw's works.
a friend who has read NIGHTWORLD believes that the events taking place can't help but signal the end of the repairman and the series-
anybody?

For those waiting for their inscribed copies of Harbingers from Shocklines.com -- I'm really sorry on the delay. I hope to see Paul this weekend and then get them out within a day or two of seeing him.

The reason for the delay is that I was under the impression that Nightworld (Borderlands Press) was also shipping last week, and I hoped to get all the inscriptions at the same time. But we haven't gotten Nightworld yet, so I'm just going to go down to see Paul and take care of Harbingers by itself.

Again, I really apologize for the delay on the inscribed copies -- please accept my apologies. Sometimes the inscriptions can take me a few extra weeks to resolve (I recently had a book where we had to get 150 inscriptions from an author, and it ended up taking an extra 5 or 6 weeks to get them all done). I appreciate the patience.

If there's anyone who wants their book IMMEDIATELY and would rather not wait any longer for the inscription, drop me an email at [email protected] or [email protected] and I'll send out your copy immediately without an inscription.

Thanks again everyone! You guys are the best.

Matt

I have never seen a movie start of so intense! The first minute has you hanging on the edge of your seat saying, "Wait a minute, you CAN'T start a movie like this"!!! Oh, but they did! And the sense of forboding, of not wanting to know what happened (but that little voice in your head saying, I can take it) carries through the entire movie! Intense!!!! I've not been thrilled with Tom Cruise as a person for some time, for reasons we all know. But he's one hell of an actor! I don't think I've ever seen him play a part with as much emotion as he portrayed in this movie. It's got all the cool spy gadgets and effects we know and love, but we see an Ethan Hunt that's grounded with a close personal relationship. It was much better than I had thought it would be, I'm glad my dad dragged me to it!

The new merger of UPN and the WB into the CW has picked up SUPERNATURAL for a second season. *does happy dance*
I was crossing my fingers for this one. The season finale gave me a heart attack.
I'm actually surprised there is not more talk about this show here on this board. It was seem the kind of show most RJ fans would flock too.
In fact, I can't help but think the Winchester boys and Jack would work well together. Dean is a very Jack like guy. And the story line of the show would blend seamlessly into the RJ world.
but, alas, *sigh* only in my dreams.
But this is only of my favorite shows, and trust me, I don't have many. (I watch only 2 others shows regularly, Numb3rs and Doctor Who. I HATE, let me repeat H-A-T-E, reality shows).
So, this fall when the new seasons start, give Supernatural a try. You'll love it.
