Wonderful movie - funny and touching.

Interesting story about an orphan Living on the just south of the border with the North) who is/becomes a transvestite. (They make it clear that he loves dressing in women's clothes from a very young age.)

Of course, it is an Irish movie - directed by Neil Jordan. Liam Nesson has a small, very important role.

I wish I'd seen it on the big screen.

I want to see this due to the fact that I am becominging increasingly impressed with Callian Murphy. If he takes on meatier roles and avoids fluff like Red Eye (he was the only good quality of that movie) he has the makings of a great actor.

I have passed this up on many trips to the video store. I think the next time I will definately pick it up. Thanks for the reccomendation.
