The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

How about Elizabeth Mitchell
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0593310/
? Or Portia de Rossi
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005577/
? And of course Emily Proctor would be good as Gia.

Mmmm. You're right. The Who should play Gia! Big Grin
Bebe Neuwerth (spelling?) was great as Lilith, but I can't see her as Gia.

It's too late, you've gone too far. You've come Undone. Bet you liked that one. Quite jazzy.

When I read a Repairman Jack book, I can picture only one woman as Gia. I mean, it's totally obvious who should be Gia. The only choice is. . . . . Big Grin ME!(Duh!) I won't be terribly picky about my costar as long as he's as sexy as Jack. Wink If I had to give up the role, I would say (and I may be thrown off for this) Eliza Dushku. I probably butchered the spelling. I like her in most of the roles I've seen her in. She could have a 7 year old (who should be Dakota Fanning, BTW). Of course, I'm still the obvious choice for the role.

If you look as hot as I picture Gia, then your only possible co-star would be....me! Big Grin

Quite frankly, I don't think The Who should play Gia, for several reasons:

1. There are (were) four of them.
2. They're the wrong sex (even Pete).
3. Keith Moon is dead.
4. They're too old!

Thus, I don't think The Who should play Gia. Don't get me wrong. I love The Who. I own their Box Set. Baba O'Riley is IMHO the best tune in the world to get high on. But I don't think they could pull it off. I think if you want rockers you probably need to go with either Geddy Lee (of Rush), Jon Anderson (of Yes) or Peter Gabriel (formerly of Genesis). David Bowie could probably pull it off too.

Hell yeah, I liked it. The Guess Who were a fine, fine singles band. For a good old-fashioned rockin' 60's time, put on their greatest hits album. (Never cared for the sentiments of "American Woman," though.)
