For Vicky, I could see either one of the sisters from "In America." But by the time the film actually gets made, one or the other or both will be old enough to play Gia. Big Grin

P.S. Those adorable girls are actually sisters in real life, Emma and Sarah Bolger.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Many a time. Oh, for Gia! Good actress, wouldn't say no to her filling the role.

If indeed Jack and Gia will be played by 20somethings, then where does Vickie fit in?

I know- there won't be a Vickie!

Many a moon ago, word was that Vicki would be older than her book counterpart, more 13 than 8. Which would suggest to me that she won't be Gia's daughter, but perhaps a half-sister/step-sister or cousin.

All conjecture, of course.

Emily Proctor is adorable and I'd love to see her break out on the big screen. Love that little accent.

Leelee just turned 25, she's looking pretty Gia'ish to me

LeeLee is a big girl, nearly 6' tall. That would mean Jack would have to be taller, which puts him out of the "ordinary man league."

Maybe modified to: KYFHO-MYOB-BYOB-PTYD! ("Keep Your F---ing Hands Off-Mind Your Own Business-Bring Your Own Bottle-Party Till You Drop"). Now THAT sounds like a philosophy to live your (perhaps shorter, but happier) life to!
