Do we ever find out what Jack's last name is? I've read various threads and I understand there isn't a name mentioned. Then again, I might have missed it somewhere.

It hasn't been mentioned so far, though we do hear his Mom's first name in Secret Circles.

Yeah, I saw that. Maybe we're closer to finding out then. Big Grin

It's possible, of course, that his family name has been mentioned in passing in one of the other non-RJ books or stories, and nobody has yet made the connection. Everything is connected, there are no coincidences, and FPW is just kind of sneaky that way. Wink

Paul once said -- on this forum -- that he had never given Jack a last name, and I gather that he doesn't intend to.

And The Man said this was a place to make suggestions. I'd like to suggest that Jack has a last name, that we would get to know. That would be my suggestion. Something Irish would be fitting I think. Big Grin

AlvinFox Wrote:Just remember, if you forget to explain something about the Otherness, just write a stand alone novel for it. That'd probably be a better way to learn about the Infernals, the Compendium and the First Age.

I think this could be a whole offshoot series for you for a long time FP! I really like the idea of doing stand alone books on Srem, the sorceress, the book she puts together and the Infernals and their making, uses, and what happened to them. Though I'd also be happy to see one or two of them show up in the last books too. It seems only fitting that in the final extremis all stops will be pulled out and some aging sorcerer(ess) will haul out some major mojo to help or hinder, or even the big R himself may have a couple as tricks up his sleeve.

I am so confused! I just finished Secret Circles (So Good!) and when I read The secret History, I see that Reprisal happens AFTER Ground Zero.
Now I know there is a revision for Reprisal BUT, does that mean Jack will be in it? Help!!!:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:
