1. The Lillitounge in "Infernal".
2. The Cleaner in "Ground Zero". (I suspect this was the device in "The Cleaning Machine", but I'm not sure)
3. They built one in "Freak Show" (not sure of it's name)

I also suspect the Tesla machine in Conspiracies" was also an infernal, but that's just a guess.

The purpose of Tesla's original tower was to release R------ from the Keep. Fortunately, he was stopped in time. By Glaeken, perhaps. But that's another story.

You really only need three things: WD-40, Duct Tape, and a pointy stick. If it's supposed to move and doesn't, use the WD-40. If it moves and isn't supposed to, use the Duct Tape. If you want it to move and it doesn't want to, use the pointy stick. The rest of life is easy.

On at least a couple of occasions Jack has met and spoken to Neil The Anarchist.

It IS another story...a little-known piece of the Secret History:

Tesla's madness was the result of contact with the Otherness, which led to his failed attempt to liberate the One via the Wardenclyffe Tower. He might have succeeded had not a certain Mr. Foster, owner of a tract of land in the NJ Pine Barrens, interceded with JP Morgan and convinced him to cut off further financing.

Oh! I had never thought of the Tesla machine as an Infernal. I always thought the Infernals were natural, but what you say makes sense. Also, perhaps Dawn's baby will be an Infernal. (I should read Freak Show...)

You'd think that Killing people would make them like you, but it doesn't! it just makes people dead.

Could someone refresh my memory: Did Julio's story have closure? In Nightworld, perhaps? If not, could we have Julio and the gang at the bar have a nice closure with the "night" creatures, please, with a Rakosh on top.

AC

P.S. Paul, school resumes for me in a few weeks, so I'll be seeing those students that I gave The Keep to for Christmas. Let you know what they thought then. I'm curious myself what today's 12-13 year old's think of the book that started it all before they know what "all of it" is. This is where, I suppose, the reading order thread becomes must reading for these students. And did I mention Julio?

I just signed up but have been a RJ and FPW fan for awhile.
This may sound kinda dumb But, I can't figure out how Jonah fathered Hank and Jeremy while living with Carol and her fine young son R.
Also, are we ever gonna see Fr Ryan and Jack meeting up. I think Jack, the rev and Mr V would be a good team to take on R?

Easy...he was an absentee father.

Nightworld takes care of that.

Minor spoiler about Jonah.

I'm sure the conception part of it had to do with some of his night time forays that only he could see through his eye (and his wife waited for him during those times). How did he know what he was doing ? R-guy?
