Actually, I changed my mind. I just think that a spouse is a whole different ballgame than a first time boyfriend you have been with for 3 or 4 weeks, who you only "think" you love, and who you may or may not ever see again. Especially when you're emotionally about 15 years old. Would I, at 40 years old and having been around the block, make out with my friend in that situation? No. Would I have done so at 25? Possibly. Would I have done so at 25 with the emotional maturity of a teenager? Very possibly. Apples and oranges.

Nope. I'm too stubborn.

But at the same time my increasing dislike of Sookie is inversely related to my like of Tara. The more the show goes on the more I understand why she is the way she is and the more I feel sorry for her.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

I adore Tara. She is way, way different than BookTara and I'm glad for it. I just wish the poor girl could finally catch a break. Sad

How many vikings does it take to change a light bulb?

None. The light from the burning monastery is more than sufficient.

So... what did everything think of the finale?

I'm going through withdrawal already. :p

Lafayette better not be dead, that's all I got to say. I think whatever happened had to do with that senator guy he confronted.

Don't forget there are lots of "other" beasties besides vampires and shape-shifters. Wink

I loved the finale! So glad they wrapped up the murder mystery, but still left new mysteries up in the air to look forward to.
Lafayette better be okay or I'm going to lose it!!! I'm still upset that Gran's dead, but Lafayette is one of my favorite characters and if he were gone I don't know what I'd do!

I thought Bill might die when he left the house during the day to try to save Sookie! OMG I was screaming and crying.

Who is that chick that took Sookie in? Hmm...so much mystery.

I loved it when Sam turned into a dog to save Sookie. I was so excited!!
Oh man, how are we supposed to wait until next season? If I read the novels, then maybe I'll spoil the series. I don't know what do to. I'm so very vexed...

Susan, I love both the books and the series but I can understand you being hesitant to spoil the series. The other factor is that it could impact how you feel about certain characters because some of them are rather different in the books.

The part of the finale when
Sam came running out scenting the air and then took off to save Sookie
actually gave me goosebumps. I've always had a crush on Sam in the books, so that part was really amazing to me. I flip-flop between Sam and Eric in the books as to who I like more. I am NOT a fan of BookBill, but LOVE TVBill. So conflicted. :p

It's a shame that I feel conflicted over a fictional character, LOL!

LOL! It's kinda like choosing between Ranger and Joe in the Stephanie Plum novels so I can relate!

Yes, they are! Of course I think Jason's hot too. What can I say, I love 'em all!!
