I'm still having trouble understanding the fact that I actually spent $100 on a brand new book...but then, it would probably cost a tad bit...infinitely more if I were to wait.

I'm glad I got it. Now if only I could get the other FPW books I still don't own special editions (or trade hardcovers) of...my life would feel somewhat closer to complete.

Glad you got it! I hope it's worth $100 for you. Big Grin

This is neat!!! Big Grin

True, $100 is a bit steep. But, it is FPW and Black Wind was the first FPW novel I read. I started with Soft and Others, but Black Wind set me off on a dark, winding course. I had a pang of buyer's remorse, but remembered how important this book is to me... so $100 isn't so bad.

Yes, I know what you mean. It was not first FPW's novel to me, but Black Wind is a speciall book to me too. It's great plot and story itself has massive power. It's very thick book, but I did read it almost without rest.

You're right, it's $100 worth. Smile

As pretty as the book is $100 is too steep for me. I'll have to stick with my used hardcover edition that I got for $2.95.

Well done Kenji. You know you've made it when you contribute to an FPW book!

"I handed in the new RJ novel with the
working title, BY THE SWORD. David says the sales force loved the title at the
pre Turkey-Day sales meeting, so that's what it will be. That means Paul Ramplin
gets a credit line in the acknowledgments.
