[SIZE="3"]Well, I've finally come up with a title: Bloodline. But I was wondering if plural might be better since so many of the novels use a plural noun for the title.

Honestly, until you pointed it out, I hadn't even noticed that many of the other novels had plural nouns for the title.

I like the plural as I'm guessing that more than one character will be unknowingly related to others.

I like Bloodline because it makes me think literally of a line drawn in blood, whereas Bloodlines only makes me think of heritage.

Bloodline is implied plural--a series of lines making up a singular whole. So, you have it both ways without the s. And I agree it does sound more sinister.

That's funny you should say that, Xamber. I was going to do post with a little to suggest that the book be called "Lines of Blood" or "Line of Blood" to avoid the whole Sidney Sheldon title duplication issue.

My vote is for Bloodline as well. That title seems more ominous.
