who?

hford713 Wrote:On that note, didn't Sidney Sheldon author Bloodlines? (not that it makes a difference - after all, there's a new hardcover on the stands right now, entitled The Keep.) :-)

Sidney Sheldon is a once-prolific author of airport novels. The new novel called The Keep is by Jennifer Egan.

Not sure which one you were referring to.

There are at least three other published novels with the title "Bloodline," but why not? It's a pretty neat title. Singular and plural depends on the theme, as each feeds a separate connotation of what the story's about.

Don't you need some, uh, proofreaders??

By the way, anyone in NYC, you can often get pre-pub editions of new books at the Strand....

I don't live near there anymore - that is the ONLY thing I miss....

Love the singular - of course you have made the BEST choice!

Okay, I'm officially glad you chose the singular. I originally stated a preference for the plural, but that was before visiting Borders and finding no less than THREE new paperbacks with the title Bloodlines. One was a Star Wars novel, one was some kind of mystery/thriller, and one was a nonfiction book about horses. And all were on the new paperback tables near the front of the store. Sheesh.

Are you sure you don't want to go with Consanguinity or something? Wink
