Well, I've finally come up with a title: Bloodline. But I was wondering if plural might be better since so many of the novels use a plural noun for the title.

Bloodline

Bloodlines

Opinions?.

I prefer the singular, unless in the book you're referring to multiple bloodlines.

Bloodline definitely provides more of a deft and sinister punch than the plural, IMHO.

On that note, didn't Sidney Sheldon author Bloodlines? (not that it makes a difference - after all, there's a new hardcover on the stands right now, entitled The Keep.) :-)

Do you really want to anger her fans? Wink

I also prefer the singular Bloodline. Go with your first instinct.

(P.S. By my count, there are 5 singular titles and 5 plural titles in the RJ series so far.)

Put me down for the singular

I just checked. Sidney used the singular as well, and he's a guy!!!! :-)

Still, singular usage gets my vote. (Say it aloud. It's got a menacing ring to it.)

In my never ending quest to be different I will choose Bloodlines. To me it seems bloodier.

Any idea when it's going to be published?

I bet it will be late April.

I like the plural too. And isn't Sidney Sheldon a guy? LOL

It depends on whether it refers to one bloodline or multiple bloodlines. It it is uncertain or ambiguous, I'd have to go with the plural.
