WooHoo!!! Big Grin

At last, I bought DVD box set season1 (vol.1). Japanese edition is seven stories in 4 discs.

1--Imprint

2--Cigarette Burns/Dreams in the Witch House

3--Jennifer/Sick Girl

4--Pick Me Up/Incident on and Off a Mountain Road

Vol.2's release is November 23

So, tonight I just watched John Carpenter's "Cigarette Burns". It reminded me of "In the mouth of madness", but this "Cigarette Burns" was a really scary 60 minute! Blood, Blood, BLOOD! And, last 10 minute....I shouted "Oh my gut!!!"

I liked it a lot! Big Grin

Now....what should I watch next? What was your favorite one?

"Cigarette Burns" is an excellent movie if you ask me, it reminded me of several other movies, like ITMOM, as you mention as well as "Ninth Gate" which is one of my favorites. "Dreams in the Witch House" was pretty good, a little bit more true to Lovecraft than most of the film adaptations. "Incident on and off a Mountain Road" is also quite good, I read the story by, I think, Joe R. Lansdale?, and was very pleased with it, and the movie follows the story line pretty closely.

Okay, thanks....so I'll see "Dreams in the Witch House" next time. Lovecraft...hmm, sounds good! Cool

My birthday, how lovely. Too bad I don't subscribe to that channel. I'll have to wait to see it another way.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Dammit all. I cancelled Showtime not two days ago for their failure to make Masters of Horror available On Demand. Now I've got to go and sign up again.

I believe I've said it before but I'll say it again: Dario Argento's "Pelts" is not for the faint hearted.

Dario Argento's movies in general are not for the faint of heart, if you don't care for the gratuitous blood and gore.
