It, too, started out with complexity and mystery, and was nearly as riveting (to me) as "Lost". But, through five seasons of writer changes, cast changes, etc., it simply became more and more muddled and riddled with contradictions. The last season was an unwatchable non-sequitur, and the show never answered many of the questions it raised. (E:FC basically got lost. )

Mary and I are addicted. We Tivo it but start watching about 9:30 so we can zap the commercials. It's a much smoother experience and cuts viewing time to 45 minutes.

I confess I have never seen an episode of Lost, except for the last 15 minutes of the one discussed here, so I can't comment. Looks like I need to invest in renting last year on DVD and maybe some TiVo like interface, as I'm not around when the shows air.
