I read Odd Thomas written by Dean Koontz. I really REALLY loved it! So I was looking forward to this movie.

Anton Yelchin as Odd Thomas. He's not bad. Actually I can see now next Odd Thomas movie by him. If Somers make a sequel. At first I worried about Odd Thomas movie directed by Stephen Sommers. But now I feel relief. It was good adaptation.

One thing I couldn't appraise part was Elvis the ghost. He was......oh, no!
An ODD THOMAS movie- aw Christ on a crutch, they're gonna eff up Oddie?! NOOOOO! but the trailer looks much better than i expected.

Agreed. They changed a few things, but overall, it was one of the best Koontz adaptations I have ever seen and for some "Odd" reason, it was shipped off direct to video. Most likely based up reception of his prior films.

It's all about money. No, it isn't fair, but that is Hollywood for you.
