Today I saw "Odd Thomas" in a theatre. Yes it is. It's a movie! :thumb:
I read Odd Thomas written by Dean Koontz. I really REALLY loved it! So I was looking forward to this movie.
Anton Yelchin as Odd Thomas. He's not bad. Actually I can see now next Odd Thomas movie by him. If Somers make a sequel. At first I worried about Odd Thomas movie directed by Stephen Sommers. But now I feel relief. It was good adaptation.
One thing I couldn't appraise part was Elvis the ghost. He was......oh, no!

I love the "Odd" books, and like Winslow, never heard of the movie.
I checked your link. The pictures were swell, but I'm a little rusty on my Japanese.
Is the title of the film "Odd Thomas"?

It looks like it's going to be straight to video here. That seems strange that a series of books, that is so popular, doesn't get a film treatment worthy of the big screen in The US.

Sure, the title is "Odd Thomas". But sometimes Japanese distributor add weird subtitle. The whole title(in English) is "Odd Thomas: Bobach and strange savior"

The strange thing is not that only. Japanese edition DVD will release in March 19. Too quickly!
