It's stuff like that that I find really annoying.

There's this one writer whose audiobooks are on Audible. His entire library is available to buy in the UK but US buyers can't purchase six of his early books. Which is a little pointless as it's all a big series.

fpw Wrote:How do you do that? I've got other people asking.

Step by step instructions, courtesy of Wifey:

Enter Amazon website
Open 'Manage my Kindle' and log in
On the left hand side is 'Your Kindle account' - go there
Then go here: 'Country settings'
Lists your current country as UK - underneath is an option to 'click here to look at other Amazon sites you can use'
Once 'here' is clicked, two options open up: Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk
Click on the link 'learn about transferring your Kindle account to Amazon.com'
Then click the orange box at the bottom: 'transfer your Kindle account to Amazon.com'

And that should be that. It seems a way overly complicated system but I'm sure there are reasons that someone, somewhere put in place for some reason. Just don't ask me what those reasons are.

Hope this helps.

Did you still have access to all your UK purchases - or did you just switch it back?

Just switched it right back but the UK purchases showed up when set as US and the US purchases (in other words, The Widow Lindley) still remain when the settings have been returned to UK.
