I was really hoping that Jack would end up using the Katana ... I still hope maybe just maybe in nightworld, Jack and Glaiken team up with the Katana and Dat Tay Vao sword and maybe Ba with the chew wasp club all tag team Rasalom. I hope the finale's different, the similar endings of nightworld and Demonsong were very anti-climactic I felt. especially with Glaiken getting his fight back from talking with Magda, I was so fired up and then ...

anyway I absolutely love how Rasalom gloats to Glaiken because he really doesn't have anyone. You really see how alone he truly is and also how evil. FPW truly never fails to give a great read

I think Tom's disappearance to the Lilitongue of Gefreda definitely took him on a one way ride to the Otherness dimension. It's such a horrid concept that I have thought about it often since reading Infernals.

It's a good possibility that as soon as he arrived he went insane, then died of fright right before being eaten alive by nightmarish beasties.

I totally agree with this.

Rasalom might have become bored and maybe even a little lonely if his old buddy Glaeken weren't around anymore.

I feel a bad parody of post-Nightworld coming on if things had ended differently than what they did...

I can only imagine what the otherness did to him just for being related to Jack

Too bad he lost his monkey from conspiracies.

I'd really like to read more about the twins now that I'm thinking of conspiracies

This should be tons O fun. How does FPW bring together all the people he has introduced in this series in Nightworld??
I doubt the Yeniceri will be involved.
I doubt we will ever know where Tom ended up. (Really, who cares???)
I know everyone wants all the questions they have answered BUT, how can Dr. Wilson answer all our questions ??
If you are like me, you want a revised NIGHTWORLD to be 2 or 3 k pages long.
C'mon Paul tie up every last character, every last question we had, up in a nice little bow
It ain't gonna happen!!!
I am really curious to see what characters from the original NIGHTWORLD make the cut to 2012
and who gets added.
I have never enjoyed a series as much as I've loved this
As sad as I am to see it end, I CAN"T WAIT.

Just finished it and, wow. I've read nothing but Secret History for the past few months and it's going to be a long few months waiting for the revised Nightworld.

I was a little let down by the flap of skin. Jack's had it for so many books now, and for the lady to ask for it back unceremoniously just felt kind of anticlimactic. I'd expected some sort of epic use for it eventually.

There are loose ends here though that I'm not nearly as concerned about as other people seem to be. The Yeniceri and the Oculus - it would be nice to see Diana freed from her Oculus status but other than that, I have no concern for them. They have contributed nothing of major value (that I can recall), and have only displayed ineptitude and caused Jack a lot of trouble. Jack's brother is gone just as sure as the rest of his family. In my mind, I have written him off. In fact, in my opinion, it would be a harsh irony to have his brother, the most unworthy of his family members, to make a reappearance.

I'm really excited to see how The Touch will tie in with Nightworld.

I'm not a big fan of E.L.O., but this past week or so, whenever I hear "Showdown" on the radio, I think of Jack.

The yeniceri killed Jack's dad. That seems like a contribution to me, albeit a bad one. Gateways is what really got me into FPW and then for his dad to just die after they were just starting to get close again, one of the few times I was upset from reading FPW. as far as the lady's flap of skin it helped Jack in figuring out about Opus Omega but I agree with Diana. I hope she makes a reappearance because she's the last link to the ally. And the same with the surviving brother from the Haunted Air, both seem like they would be extremely valuable in the fight against Rasalom but are both nonexistant in dark at the end. I hope both make an appearance in revised nightworld but must wait to see

do any of the books tell more about the original heirs-the twins? are all the rakoshi dead? what was the point of the dormentalist church burying the capsules at the nexus points? what about the necklace from the tomb? what about the occulus? were hank and jeremy full brothers and birth sons of jonah? why did jonah go thru so much to make sure this q'qr baby was born just for it to have such a simple death? why is the taint so strong in jack if his parents didnt have any? etc. etc. etc. so many questions with no answers. so much build up with so many things that lead no where!
